After accidentally unraveling an underground conspiracy, Kay, a cold-blooded detective, must defeat the criminal network behind it before his loved ones are the next to fall.
Along with Gerda, a link to his mysterious past, and Hentzau, an ex-pilot in love with him, Kay must explore every last corner of Severgrad to solve the mystery and defeat the villains that threaten to sink the world into an ever lasting winter!!Arctic Blues is my current passion project :)
It all started with a very vivid dream I had about Von Lycaon being a detective in this 1940s frozen world (I have one of those every two months or so). So, as a writer, I just needed to make this into something tangible. However, unlike other projects, the point of this passion is to have fun, set it free, and make it what it needs to be without losing it in perfection.
Perhaps the most important thing for me here is that it needs to be sorta short, meaning it's better to get it done rather than undergo long-term editing. I already have enough projects as it is, and I want to emphasize the importance of small projects, like short stories, because it really brings a lot of the benefits of the longer ones plus the fun.
But Arctic Blues isn't just something I want to get over with. I want to build community, connect, share my dreams. So if you want to form part of this journey and have something to return to every few weeks, a place where you can just rest and have adventures for a while, don't be afraid to reach, comment or fave. It means a lot! <3
