"Roly-Polympics 2012: Baseball"

Personally, I find it hard to believe that the IOC (International Olympic Committee) took America's favorite pastime - 'baseball' - and discontinued it as an Olympic event (following the 2008 Summer Games in Beijing, China). And now, it sits in the attic (collecting dust and cobwebs) along with other defunct sporting events - including (from the Summer Games) 'polo', 'lacrosse', 'tug of war', and (from the Winter Games) 'barrel jumping'.
But that doesn't mean that 'baseball' still can't be included in the "Roly-Polympics" - where teams of obese outfielders, corpulent catchers, and pot-bellied pitchers predominate, and even the thinnest pinstripes on their uniforms couldn't make the batters look thinner!
In this all-new cartoon gag, a fat Florida panther has defected to Cuba - representing the Latin nation's baseball team (instead of the other way around, having a Cuban defect to the USA to join the Florida Marlins... which is probably why the 2012 Marlins team is 'in the basement' of the National League). This burly batter has only one 'handicap'... which can be seen all the way from the furthest reaches of the left field bleacher seats! Of course, the American catcher (a bear) has a front row view; and that all he can see, as he tries to contact the pitcher on the other side of the batter's broad belly! Meanwhile, the umpire (a skunk) is having an equally tough time doing his job, with a similarly obstructed view...
"Play ball!"
