I would advise you IB too because of the amount of people, the features like key words you can really work with, and their liberty of speech, although this same liberty of speech (regarding cub stuff especially) is exactly why some people avoid it. Up to you to decide following your sensitivity...

But it's more about the behavior - if the hardware and code work, it doesn't matter much. If the moderators act like children, then the entire house isn't worth much.

Twitter continues to fail due to Musk's incompetency. FA laughs.

A few days later, FA goes down due to a DDOS attack.

As said above~
They had to block entire countries (like mine) for some time by fear of a DDOS attack.
Just days after bragging about being up while Twatter was down.

This site's over the hill. It's going to be a while yet before it finally falls apart, and it may be a slow process of attrition, but FA's inherent limitations and arrogant decisions will hobble it in the end.

I'm with you apart from the "falling apart" thing. I believe they can perfectly float and be successful all the way down to mediocrity. They just have to replace their audience, exactly what they are doing right now little by little.

There is a significant difference between FA getting attacked from an outside source (which it handled in less than 24 hours) and Twitter blowing off both feet in an attempt to deal with their owner being a cheapskate who doesn't want to pay his webhosting bills (which they still haven't done more to fix than cut off access to people in an attempt to force folks to buy a blue checkmark.)

The former is a mild rebuke at best (and proof the people here can handle such issues successfully,) the latter is hilarious hubris.

That journal wasn't about how they handled that. It was about their childish, undignified behavior. This is where the karma lies - I would have never underlined that if they behaved professionally in the first place.
