It’s basically the same as Twitter/X. Character limits and all that. One big difference was that Bluesky didn’t have a DM (on here known as Notes) feature until today. A lot of artists made an account on there as well.

Not really. Without trying to get too political it was mainly made by the former ceo of twitter Jack In somewhat retaliation to Elon Musk buying Twitter. A lot of people joined mainly to try and sink Twitter/X. It just happened that a lot of furry artists created an account for pretty much that reason that I could tell. I can’t speak for them, it’s more of a guess based on some people’s posts when they were announcing that they created an account on there. With the DM feature and them not requiring a code to join they might take off a bit more now. Only time will tell.

Twitter/X is definitely still more popular than Bluesky still but it’s good to have a backup place just in case.
