As far as I can tell, there is no way to filter content out by tags, only by age level. It's unfortunate, because there's material that I would prefer not to come across on the front page or in searches.

No. Despite being the one thing everyone wants and has wanted for some time, there isn't.

A Tag Filter or Blacklist system has been the #1 most requested feature on this site for over a decade. Why they don't implement it, I have no idea.
