Happy Pokémon Day!
Hi there, everyone! As promised, I share another journal with not too much of a gap from my previous one, hehe. ^_^
I hope you all have been doing well. Last few days I finally got the chance to get some relaxation from the winter days. Been a bit rainy, but I was doing some spring-cleaning and have been indoors anyways. Currently sorting through some old things that I was looking forward to possibly sell (mostly old LEGO, some video games and a few Nintendo and other merchandise I kept from conventions and promotional events). Simply making space as the plan is still to possibly renovate my room and get some new shelves and a desk.
Aside from that, it's the 29th anniversary since Pokémon got released in Japan. And I thought that makes a great reason to finally sit down and edit around having a new avatar here on FA.
If you find the jolly Shiny dancing fun, please go and send Tyrotspacecat a "Totodily awesome!" to their animation submission:

Shiny's expression fits pretty well with my current mood because in today's Pokémon Presents they announced that Totodile will be the Water Starter of choice for "Pokémon Legends Z-A". Finally, some representation for my favorite Pokémon!
~YEAH!! He's in the game! He's in! Let's go!~ 🎈(-^.=.^-)🎉
🎊🎊🎊🎊

I had fun with the last "Pokémon Legends" game for that it tried to do something a bit different, even though there were still a lot of things like a rather desolate world with not much interesting elements and the animations of Human characters were forgettable though some of the Pokémon themselves were quite fun to observe. That's why I already was interested in "Pokémon Legends Z-A" but having my favorite of the first partners finally getting the love he deserves is just elevating things tenfold. Excited for whenever they are going to hopefully share new Mega Pokémon because a Mega Feraligatr would likely look epic! =3
Aside from "Z-A", the Pokémon mobile apps are all getting some new events but admittedly the only apps I am currently using still are "Pokémon TCG Pocket" and occasionally "Pokémon Smile". "Pokémon Sleep" never worked properly for me and I stopped caring about "Pokémon GO" right after I had myself some Johto Pokémon and felt like I'm good. I did play three months of "Pokémon Café Remix" last year which has been alright, but personally I rather play "Pokémon Puzzle League". No "Unite" or "Masters EX" for me so far.
Definitely enjoying all the animated shorts Pokémon has been producing over the last years. I would go as far as that a bunch of them have qualities of a Pokémon theatrical release and it's nice in what variety we can enjoy stories from the Pokémon universe.
The latest bunch of shorts I will link here and want to encourage sharing with me what Pokémon stuff aside from
a certain Big Jaw Pokémon at Target <--- Jazwares, release this in Europe asap! ❤️️
has been on your mind and I'm also happy to hear about your Pokémon OCs and whatever you like to chat over in the comments or notes.
Stay totodily awesome and thanks for reading! =D

In terms of LEGO sets I had a set which was a smaller medieval castle with knights and horses, a pirate ship as well as a LEGO TECHNIC set which you could build into either a Dinosaur, a helicopter or a hovercraft. Though my favourite probably was a classic train set which came with a station and a control to regulate the speed of the train. I also had a small box with miscellaneous bricks and base plates. Since I don't use them any longer I try to find a new home for those sets locally I don't have relatives that would be interested in such sets.
Video example
There exist a bunch of different tiles that one could get, from pieces that temporarily stop the car to intersections, gates, tunnels and whatnot. Was something that Carrera made. Way fun to customize and experiment around with, then seeing your car just keep climbing and going along the track you built
Pythagora's Switch <---basically Japanese Rube-Goldberg constructions. So amusing to observe. =D
Looking forward whenever you find the time to send me the files from the illustrations I had requested a few months back, and of course when you might get to another one of my commission ideas. I told you, I'd appreciate it if you can find the time for me.
But that said, best wishes to you and your personal Pokémon enjoyment, Boot.
ALso damn that new animated icon looks so incredible cute .///.
I do have to say that i find the starters selection a bit strange. 2 Jotoh and one Einall? Why not one Jotoh and one other or all 3 Jotoh. I just hope the starters wont evolve into a different type in their 3rd evolution like it was with Legends Arceus. I really disliked it how the first 2 evos were physically unchaned while the 3rd one had a complete colour and design change, as if the first 2 evos arnt connected
Happy you enjoy the animated icon as much as I do. Seeing Shiny animated is always an absolute treasure, plus the lil fella is just such a party Pokémon that it fits right into the image of how I usually see Totodile's happy-go-lucky charm in.
People are still speculating whether there will be Mega Evolutions for the level two form of the First Partner Pokémon or if they might feature regional forms. It surely would be a first if base forms among First Partner Pokémon would get a new look just like some regional forms outside of the bunch. I hope they get at least anything. Not really in the mood for Mega Charizard Z and Mega Lucario Y, tehehe. <X3
Thing is with regional form of the starter is that they should atleast be visible regional. The way Legend Arceus did it was only giving the last evo a regional theme. With Bauz as exmple: Why not simply doing their feathers all red instandly? Then its the same pokemon but regional fitting + it makes he last evo fit in but it is just from green to red which i dont like. Same with the other 2 just change the colour pattern slightly to fit in and thats all.
Im probably on the unpoluar side but i do hope there will be a Z Charizard. Would be funny AND honestly Charizard deserves the spotlight, unlike Pikachu and that says someone who doesnt really like Charizard all that much
Yeah, I see you. One of the regional forms in previous games I personally found quite cool was the Galarian Zigzagoon line. They had a fun glam rock look. I also remember how Rowlet in the Sun and Moon series got a cute visual makeover in some episodes reminiscent of his evolved for after meeting a Decidueye and liking their hood. Could work with giving the base Pokémon something reminiscent of their later forms.
On the other hand, if people play such games and get surprised by the new looks of the evolution, some kids and casual players tend to take that as a fun surprise in itself, that's at least how I imagine it being the producers' idea there.
I don't know. Anything Kanto related seems way overdone to me at this point. Heck, even Gen V is sometimes looked at with rolling eyes for how much was Gen I inspired despite the initial plans to make that somewhat of a turn of a new leaf there. And each generation we get Kanto, Kanto, Kanto (or eight years of Sinnoh, sheesh). I'm happy whenever a more obscure non-Kanto Pokémon is receiving some support, so yeah, happy about the potential of some extra love for Chikorita, Tepig and Totodile here.
My favorite regional form is sneasel, i do think i even like the regional form even more than the abse form but they are equaly good, especially since i love sneasel and weavile aswell as sneasler <3
I also hope the Gen 6 starters get also a mega evolution. They really deserve one when literally gen 1 and gen 3 starters got one even if you cant have one yourself. The rival, as example could have one depending of the starter
Not sure what gives you that idea but Pikachu is popular, especially with girls. They even joked about that back in Detective Pikachu because they knew it is true. =o
Ah, I remember them from playing the first "Pokémon Legends". They have like a winter coat. Sneasler somewhat reminds me of Zeraora, both have that Feline look to them though Sneasler seems to miss their tail.
Would be interesting. The more fun designs they come up the more new trading cards and toys they get to release, hehe. <X3
Oh, I leave it to you. I'm happy to accompany you to whatever favorite spots you like to visit. (^.=.^)
I liked Pokemon Champions and also Legends Z-A!
There is also the next season of "Pokémon Concierge". As you see behind the links above, a very cute series of stop motion animated shorts which just screams creativity and lovely detail.
Personally, I am mostly one who likes wholesome and playful moments a bunch in games. I'd happily try it out if any Pokémon game would introduce other goals besides becoming a trainer. Just some cute life sim with Pokémon you can have around, coordinating Pokémon for entertaining showcases and some of the concepts we have seen in other games like a "Detective Pikachu" or "Pokémon Ranger" are somewhat of a nice palette cleanser and add to the variety.
And yush, totodily excited here. The last nine hours I've just been writing here, video game news site comment sections and YouTube. What a rush! X3
Looks like you got that one as a commission, hmm? I just found their art page.
Third, the Pokemon Presents was pretty short this year compared to last year, and while they took a year delay to do so, I'm surprised that Pokemon Legends Z-A looks similar in graphics to Scarlet & Violet, maybe a bit of upscaling, tweaking of it and go from there, but that's about it.
Fourth, I'll have to watch the shorts when I get the chance to. But I'm sure I'll like it as much as the other people say. But again, Dragonite and the Postman reminds me waay too much of "Postman Pat" if you ask me X2.
Fifth, If you wish to go to Japan, go for it so long as you have enough funds to get there and back. From Europe to Japan sounds like a long trip there and back (having to hope through some countries in order to get there), but I do think it would be worth it. Again, would be nice to see some of these Pokemon centers in other places outside of Japan and I guarantee you they would just be as popular as the ones in japan.
Hope everyone enjoyed it (sorry if this comment got delayed by one day, I had to work on a small project for the DJ guys tonight).
So far I think the character designs are interesting. I am looking forward to explore Luminose City hoping the developers will have thought up a fun story and some amusing gameplay elements.
Heh, it sure is neat to imagine certain cartoon characters and pair them with a fitting Pokémon team.
Dragonite keeps surprising in how fast they can zoom through the air. You'd not expect it right away from the size of their wings.
Oh, I am pretty sure of it when thinking of how well they always do with the pop-up Pokémon Center stores during the World Championships, whenever such happen around the globe. The UK, France, both I recall pretty much ran out of goods over the cause of the week they opened up shop there.
Much success with your music projects. ^_^
To be honest, while I may miss the old ones you had prior, I do think new ones like this one definitely does update who you are now compared to 10 years back, so it's great to see you change the icon on the day the new starters from Pokemon Legends Z-A came out so, there's that.
I mean, it's okay (at last no shimmering or interlacing on the buildings and such from far away or at least it doesn't suck very much), but still uses the same engine as games prior so, it's hard for me to get excited for Pokemon when there's little increments year after year after year....But to be honest, I tend to be more excited for say the company's 30th, 40th, or 50th anniversaries, let alone the 100th anniversary rather than the odd ones like 26th - 29th, or the 21st - 24th anniversaries of the company if you ask me (I do think 2026 will "definitely" be a much more important, paramount, and extravagant year for Pokemon/Pocket Monsters than this year, since I wasn't expecting much from Pokemon Presents in 2025 compared to next year, but I digress). Much like what I've done with Legends Arceus, I prefer to watch longplays since I have no interest in buying the game. 7 Days To Die, Palworld, and OpenRCT2 pretty much give me enough gameplay fun to spend my time on (or working on my stories/catching up on youtube video tabs that I have hundreds to go through, not to mention notifications form deviantART, Furaffinity, Weasyl, or whatever other site I can go on to keep track and look through notifications. Not to mention having to keep track of over 40 emails and hundreds of accounts on many websites excluding tumblr, instagram, twix (twitter+X), and facebook and, yeah, it can be time-consuming if you ask me....but that's just how I roll is I prefer to watch videos of people playing games sometimes rather than me playing the video games if you ask me). But I do wish to see how it'll end up when Q4 2025 (which Q1 is January - March, Q2 is April - June, Q3 is July to September, and Q4 is October - December...I used to miss companies labelling their games as "Coming out on Q2 2026" or "Late Q3 2011" type of release date...Used to be fun that way and does help me understand those terms that have sadly been lost to time 15 years later) comes around and see how the game ends up from beginning to end...In terms of graphics, it's okay, gameplay wise, It's fine, nothing too crazy, new mega forms, many would wish we could see more, but I don't know if they'll include more or just import the ones made from Gen 6/7 games into Gen 9 engine like Legends Z-A and such...We'll have to wait and see...
I did get a chance to watch Pokemon Concierge and I'm just thinking "Why did the people only make 4 episodes like Pingu was 40 years back??"....But at the same time, wholesome/slice of life Pokemon shows akin to Sazae-san that's been running since 1969 onwards. Shows like Sazae-san should definitely be utilized for Pokemon/Pocket Monsters types of shows if you ask me...Same goes with Digimon, Palworld, and the like. The dragonite one reminds me too much of "Postman Pat", but it would be funny to watch that one and not think there should be a pokemon version to "Postman Pat" or "Fireman Sam" (which I did watch all 7 seasons of the original late 1980s early 1990s version of "Fireman Sam" on Youtube 6-7 years back...I just refuse to watch the ones from the early to mid 2000s version of the CGI 2010s incarnation...But I digress). Again, I've yet to watch it, though not sure for how long, but the Pokemon Concierge videos I did download them before they lock those episodes away forever.
Yeep...While I may not be a merch person myself (since I do appreciate some of the stuff the family members give to me, by the time I got to ten or fifteen years old, my tastes changed to where the internet satisfied me enough. And then once I got into video and audio, that's where the explosion of me buying Enterprise HDDs and audio cables/video equipment came into play)....But once my workstation was complete, I just need to upgrade some stuff here and there, nothing too drastic.
Thanks, although it depends on if I'm able to finish them or not, which I usually do but not often.
Alright, finally got this comment out of the way. Hopefully you refresh your memory on what we talked about here last week, but I'll have to wait and see...Take care and have a good rest of your year/day/night.
Definitely. I still treasure all avatars of mine. The chance is always there that I might switch a new one out for an older one randomly or show them as their own submission. Glad to hear you enjoyed them so far.
Muchly understandable. Watching Let's Plays, video game discussions, gaming content in general is a nice addition to the occasional own gaming time. I myself enjoy to watch how people enjoy their time with certain games, their impressions to story beats and whatnot. With Pokémon's stand as a competitive game it can be a bit frustrating to see how people are often on the edge with one another. Fights over what direction the franchise shall take, people cursing one another for how they support certain Pokémon, games, etc.. It is quite sad if it's actually meant to bring joy and to be able to exchange and have fun over it all.
Regarding how Pokémon games turn out to be I admittedly have certain expectations which pretty much only limit towards the trends that the company is setting. The record is obviously not the greatest as they have done things like limiting content in games, releasing games with day one patches, with bugs, a certain bias to specific Pokémon, etc.. That's why I dialed back for potential surprises but I keep my fingers crossed that we might get some more new and exciting aspects yet, even if it's just the final game of teh current console generation.
In terms of Gen 10 and so on, it could potentially be that I might not be able to play them myself anymore. I love games and I have a good collection going on, but in recent years with daily duties and all, I run into the problem that I simply cannot keep up with my sheer interest and finding the time to play so many games. Plus, my love for the many older games I played in my first half of my life is strong and I don't want to part with such games to a great part yet, so I save the space at home for such devices instead of always keep adding more and more games.
What I try to say is, I likely want to focus more on games I have been eager to replay or finally get into on older consoles. But that's just my current standing.
There are lots of fun examples in the video catalogue of Pokémon animations that can give one a glimpse of the sheer potential the cute and cool designs of Pokémon can have to create shows with. The Kodomomuke Adventure style the regular show has is of course fun but it's neat to see stuff that is more catered to the upper Shonen, a Shojo or as you stated, a Slice of Life genre. I also still remember the Western slapstick cartoon one and the ones based of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon that let Pokémon talk. Not to forget how that also diverges into Pokémon manga yet which would include even superhero as a genre or the whole mystery/crime solving related to Detective Pikachu. Lots of variety there.
If you found "Pokémon Concierge" fun, you'll likely be amused by that the "Wallace and Gromit" claymation-animation studio Aardman is going to join for a Pokémon project of their own. I think that is also fitting mostly with your comparison to "Pingu".
Nothing wrong with that. I know a bunch of folks who love their tech. Highend PC setups, home cinemas and the sorts. Plus, I can see how just collecting images of stuff is satisfying on its own. You can access photos and image files online and just watch. I guess I just enjoy to pick up things and imagine how I can use them to possibly decorate my room with them sometime in the future yet.
Have a lovely day yourself, Matt. I hear from you whenever you find yourself inspired to another happy message. =3
Yeah, I just found this one to be a great changeup due to the Pokemon Presents announcement on that day. For me I've kept my old icon ever since 2016 and haven't changed it in 9 years because I'm such a Christmas holiday fanatic myself (Thanksgiving, New Years, and Winter season as well).
Yea, it's just that video games end up being a commitment, and unless you have a good amount of spare time to play a certain video game you like, I would much prefer to use that time to work on my own personal story projects, listen to music, or deal with real life scenarios and situations. Pokemon for me has always been the creatures, and while I used to like the anime and movies back in the day, it hasn't been the same since the first two gens and generation 5 (Gen 5 used to be hated by people except me, being the only one who loved it very much, except not playing the video games of course)....But the only issue I have with the company is that they focus so much on the youth that the mature/older people get left out in the dark, causing me to have to make my own NSFW content featuring Pokemon creatures in different ways (excluding Mystery Dungeon mind you because that video game series, while I may like the story, the dungeon gameplay would put me to sleep every time I watch it or even play it. I've tried games like The Shining CD, Phantasy Star, and Jade Cocoon type of dungeon crawlers like those, and never got too far or had no interest in continuing because it doesn't have the same impact for me to enjoy as I would if I did it in real life, hence why Role-Playing Games, except RPs like sending messages back and fourth between two or more people in a direct message and such, aren't my favorite genre to go through. Either due to reminding me too much of being in a military/police force or finding it excruciatingly challenging with too many abilities and moves for each individual to keep track of...So I don't bother with the competitive side of things as I'm more into filmmaking and music rather than competition/olympic type of commitments)...But while I have never joined a fandom myself, people have such wild descriptions, viewpoints, egos, bias, etc. that it doesn't fit the same mold as I do, thus I never really participate in stuff like that. Again, ever since My Pokemon Ranch and Pokemon Channel, I don't have any interest in buying any pokemon game any time soon.....
Same...But the difference is that I'm able to enjoy the games I have whenever I like, including pirated versions of the game...But again, much like what I've said before, I just can't see myself playing Pokemon mainline games since I saw early one from gen 1 how the games were going to end up, basically dogfights and sporting events...So yeah, while I love the creatures, I could careless about the story or the other characters including the protagonists of those games....For me I'm able to keep up with updates and news about the series and enjoy videos of people playing the games, just that I could careless about playing the video games myself.
That's true, but again, I already know about Wallace and Gromit/Flushed Away for years now, but the Gumby series that hasn't seen a revival in 30+ years and is just stored away in some Dreamworks vault for decades now...it's not a surprised that franchise hasn't been resurrected for years now...But seeing where Pokemon is going, while it is improving slightly, it'll take another 20 to 30 years for it to finally give what the players have wanted from the series 10 years prior...But again, in terms of Pokemon fan animations, it's a 50/50, either I love it or hate it and don't bother to continue watching it....But again, I am thinking of making my own OVA/DVA series that's not just Pokemon, but different franchises that I either live in the Pokemon world or Animal crossing world...Just saying.
Yeah...I'm not a big merch person, I prefer to put money into items to be used for work or to buy more Enterprise HDDs/SSDs for storage purposes, which is why I love to download stuff because I don't trust stuff staying on the internet forever sadly...So there's that to consider...Either way, each person has their own setup as you mentioned...but that's just what I've invested in some things and not much on the other ones...
Either way, I would say the same thing to you ShinTotodude, hope you enjoy your week as Spring is right around the corner.
Oh, and no worries about having different opinions. We can all be simply true to our feelings and acknowledge having our personal standpoints for how we feel, Matt.
Ah, holidays sure are very wholesome and nice to remember. I sure enjoy Christmas a lot, too. A nice breather between the workfilled times of the winter months and the ambiance and decorations are so pretty.
Some festivities unique to my county: namely the Cologne costume carnival is an annual event where me and my relatives watch a parade (kind of like how they do parades in the US on Thanksgiving), though here it's usually marching bands and floats with people throwing candy for the audience to pick up as a gift. Got to walk around as a Tiger this year around while one of my relatives went as a Leopard. Fun time. 🐯
Ah, I guess I personally enjoy that Pokémon is a mostly family friendly franchise. Wouldn't really want it to be gritty or overly violent. I know it's Monster characters with super powers and how that in a realistic sense would likely be as edgy as the game devs' Pokédex entries (they treat those as if it's National Geographic documentaries reporting about them in a predatory and sometimes even quite horrific sense even). That said, it's completely fine to stick to the Pokémon you used to enjoy or to just finding Pokémon neat from a design standpoint without knowing the games they are from. There are in general so many franchises that it's never easy to stay on track with everything. Definitely something that can be distracting if you try to make your own franchise project, heh. <X3
Sounds neat. Most Nintendo properties lend themselves well for making fanfictions and fan art projects of. Likable characters and often playful and relaxing elements in them to have fantastical thoughts of.
In my case it's been my games, the occasional mvoie or show on disc as well as some stationary stuff for making letters and casual art projects from. I also own a small set of hard drives for safety copies though I don't really go downloading huge amounts of shows or movies but rather just the arts and other files that are very important to me. I learned that some people go a step further even and upload such things on online clouds though I haven't been there. So far my internal and external drives were sufficient enough. Might be someday that I buy new ones in case the old external drives stop working.
Hihi, I know the "ShinTotodude" was just a typo there but the first thing that popped in my mind was that "Shin Godzilla"'s movie poster. I don't know if Shiny would be a fan of that movie by how more gruesome Godzilla is depicted in that. Though I know people who like to draw Pokémon scary. XD
Much appreciated. ^_^
Alright, I was only stating what I was thinking of at that time and days ago so, it's a usual thing to not get blocked or piss the person off.
Absolutely man, it's this reason why the holiday season at the end of the year will always be my favorite, even if it would be summer down in the southern hemisphere.
The Cologne Costume Carnival!?!?! Wait, there's a festival dedicated to beauty products and such??? My mom would love to visit one if that ever happens in our area.
But wait, how are you dressing up as a tiger??...I don't know much about that festival sadly...
Yeah....But I do think if mature content is ever going to occur from the Pokemon series, it would have to be done by the fans, not so much by the company. It's this reason why I made my own franchise of my own monsters similar to Pokemon, Digimon, Bakugan, Beyblade, Yu-Gi-Oh, Godzilla, Dinosaucers, and B-Daman before my monster franchise (although it's more of a movie/tv show/animation franchise, video games can happen but it wasn't the main inspiration for my own characters, and they have human names rather than creature names to make it less confusing for people trying to remember my characters)....And yes, you can say that again, ESPECIALLY keeping track of people's OCs on the internet (there's too many nowadays compared to 15 years back if you ask me).
Yeah, it's been an idea I've had in mind, originally with panzer dragoon, until I realize I wanted to go further than just panzer dragoon, and more than just showing pokemon characters. The idea behind it would be akin to traveling through different dimensions, with planet earth is the main hub for humans traveling to another world, or basically me escaping planet earth from World War III to go to the pokemon world to create my own sort of asylum for Pokemon creatures, that for me I would be able to understand them akin to Eliza Thornberry or Dr. Dolittle. And being able to travel through different dimensions or featuring different franchise akin to Who Framed Roger Rabbit and franchise collabs in the past. But again, I haven't written any scripts or done drawings/animations yet of it, it's still in the idea phase, but wouldn't know what kind of endgoal I would do for that indie digital/original video animation of my own. But that's what I've been thinking of for 5 years now since January 2020.
Ahh okay, I've downloaded videos online simply because to put them into my Adobe Premiere Pro Projects under the title "Favorite Videos" and it's just there just so that, not only the videos are archived and ready to go, or play them anytime when the internet goes out, but also to put them into my Premiere Pro CC 2020 project just as a way to help me fall asleep (this is the same thing I do on the cruise ship or airline trips whenever I go somewhere that doesn't have internet there). But again, I don't expect Pokemon to be a mature show, 90 percent of the time it will always target G/PG ratings for that franchise, even if I wish it would do both PG-13/R rated stuff as well as G/PG stuff separately (for those who grew up with the franchise in the 1990s and early 2000s, and those who are born this decade or the decade prior).
XDDD Oh My Gosh Nooo. That was an actual typo, but because FurAffinity's text is small to my vision, even 4 inches away it's hard to see, that I thought I typed the name correctly, even though I didn't proofread to realize that I made a mistake, but it was 4am Eastern Time in my area when I made that comment to you...Sorry about that, it was a typo. X<...My mistake...
Either way, yeah, you're welcome...If you like, we can continue talking in notes/DMs if you like, that's up to you. =D
I feel like Christmas is mostly cherished so much because it somewhat distracts of how cold and monocolored winter can be. Shorter days where you somewhat want to do it like other Mammals and just sleep through it all (but can't because businesses). In that time the few days of spare time are a sweet relief.
Ah, Cologne like the German city, not like the perfume. I live in a town of North-Rhine Wetphalia where they hold that carnivval tradition. Some people here are pretty into it comparable to Thanksgiving committees in the US. Some people do comedy, some are musicians or dancers, some like organizing festivals and build floats that often are pulled by tractors. People stand on top and then throw candies and otehr small gifts into the cheering crowd. People wear colorful costumes to welcome the spring back (the idea is just having fun in general though, so you can see all kinds of outfits for partying).
There are a bunch of different traditions to this season and most stores just like at Halloween in the US will start offering costumes for people to buy. And as said, it's something that's pretty common only in a few parts of Germany. Kind of like how Oktoberfest is a mostly only Bavarian thing.
Oh, my! That's definitely ambitious with how many franchise names you are mentioning there. I'm already surprised to see anybody remembering "Dinosaucers" for example; I mean that in a positive way. X3
That reminds me of how clunky nowadays technology can be with its forced online connectivities. If we ever get a bad signal, one's blu-ray player cannot be updated and for some odd reason then will deny to play most of your movies. If one really wants to stay analogue from all that, it definitely seems necessary at a certain point to start and make extra files out of everything.
Someone I know locally told me they go as far and build their own home network that connects via a spare computer with their TV. They basically made their own streaming of all the things they recorded to be casually accessed from their offline functioning server or something like that, plus they somehow know how to turn discs into video files...Simply felt reminded of that conversation when you were mentioning all that. =o
Ah, not taken badly. I was simply amused. Shin after all is short for Shinigami which is like a death deity in Japan; though that said, one could also just compare it to an Angel. There are always ways to make things less spooky, hehe.
Notes, okidoki. I'll keep it in mind. =3
Summer time would be worst for me as it would feel like it's too darn hot for me...I mean, even if it's not winter time, I just try to sleep in as early as I can, even though it's really more about sleeping in at the right time to wake up at the right time, that's just me.
Ohhhhhh, Okay...My mistake...Again, never went through that holiday but I'm grateful that Germany has their own version of thanksgiving if you ask me....
Good to know....
Weeelll what if I told you that back in 2008, after looking into Back To The Future, and thanks to Retrojunk dot com, I ended up watching a bunch of trailers that my parents remember growing up on. See, my parents were born in 1965, which is why much of their media is more 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s related. 1990s and 2000s some of it, but definitely the 1980s and before, and I can't tell you thanks to Youtube how much media, commercials (Thanks to 80sCommercialVault), and content I was able to find through Youtube, Wikis, and different websites. One of those is Dinosaucers, and the moment I saw that intro, Holy Moly I wanted to watch that show and it just so happened that someone had the full 65 episode season recordings on videocassette (before it got taken down in 2018/2019 for unknown reasons), but man, watching all of those episodes of Dinosaucers, it's no wonder that show, along with Pole Position 1982 and Saturday Supercade, are my top favorite animated TV shows of all time (I tried watching Dino-Riders but it was waayy too far out for me to enjoy it, despite having only 13 episodes. They were fun to watch don't get me wrong, but Dinosaucers combined the feeling of living on planet earth and meeting dinosaurs from outer space so easily and flexible, that I ended up loving the characters, the series, everything. It's just unfortunate Coca-Cola company cancelled it before the second season was to be made, and merch never happened. Then you have Denver The Last Dinosaur, which, surprise surprise, I found that through someone showing a weight gain/inflation scene of that one, which is the second episode if I remember correctly). So yeah, in terms of US, Canadian, and UK content, what other properties have I not discovered yet that I would absolutely enjoy...And then there's the Milo & Otis movie my older siblings and I grew up with along with Pokemon, but I later found out, much like Pokemon and Nintendo, it came from Japan and there exists a Famicom game of "The Adventures of Chatran", the same name used in the 1986 film that was based on a 1982 book of the same name, and a very soothing very pippy synthesizer soundtrack if you ever do find it, and a very catchy Japanese outro ending if you do find it.
Again, what other content from years into the past do I not know of yet?? You can imagine since 2008 that I've been searching for decades content, leading up to Willis O Brian with "The Ghost On Slumber Mountain" in 1918, and the 100th anniversary of the true original movie adaptation of "The Lost World" released in 1925 when Sir Arthur Doyle was still living making his Doctor Strange books (Yeah, Sir Arthur Doyle had his own books series of Doctor Strange Waaayyy before Doctor Who and the superhero Doctor from the Marvel/Spider-Man universe even existed...Go figure). But again, the reason why I would use Pokemon in my series is to show the new generations that your parents and grandparents media does exist in the past, and needs to be looked or shown to the new generation as a way to inspire those in the future to enjoy the content from decades past. Ranging from the universal international monster films, to even "Quartermass & The Pit" (now that show I don't think many would know about and that one is a Science Fiction type of show, leading up to "Six Millions Years To Earth" movie in the 1960s). Basically using Pokemon as a gateway to show others media and content from the past, not to mention culture that people used to do back in the 20th century and before (Bill & Ted style if you ask me or something similar to it. And yes, I did watch Bill & Ted animated series as well, and first heard about those guys from renting the first movie of Bill & Ted in my local Parsippany Troy Hills library 22 years back. And the animated show's first season theme song is very catchy man). I could go on an on about it, but it's basically a way for me to show others past media before Pokemon existed, and even ones in the present and new ones, to show children, teens, and adults that there's sooo much content from the past that exists already, that I hope others, by watching my OVA/DVA show, they can appreciate not only the content and characters I create in my show, but also appreciate and check out the content from the past, including music in those eras, and especially use them as inspirational material for people to enjoy. Heck, for all I know I could be trying to search for other things in the past I haven't watched or even checked out that I might enjoy....So yeah, it sounds ambitious, but there needs to be great amount of care for me to properly do them right, or not use them at all...But yeah, in terms of Dinosaucers, much like Pole Position, Saturday Supercade, Milo & Otis, Dino Riders, Legendz: Tale of the Dragon King (2004 anime), Dragon Century, and That 70's Show, is one of those shows that became a top favorite of mine of all time.
Yeah...There's a reason why I invested in those HDD for a reason, is not only to rip media from my own collection, but also to download videos on Youtube I enjoy so much that I wish to archive. You'd be surprised how many Youtube Poops I've enjoyed years back that still give me a chuckle 15+ years later to this very day, including new ones of course but those are few and far in between. But despite that, DVD, VHS, and Laserdisc openings/closings are usually the ones I insert into my project, along with TAS videos and channels like PatMac and Yesterworld Entertainment are the ones I listen to once in a while or some of the time. Again, I've learned it the hard way when letting a user on Youtube be able to keep their account on their, and thinking they'll stay there forever, until it either gets taken down due to copyright or the creator closes their channel, leaving behind content we enjoyed in the past completely gone until re-uploaded and such (Great examples of awesome YTPs and video remix videos back in the day was "Youtube Poop, a Delorean Made Out Of A Delorean" and "Warioware Back To The Future" ones). So because of that, I try to at least download and save whatever I can, via a website with spells of magic, or a video/music file to save locally if the internet ever goes out...
Ohhh....Weelll...heh...I would have not known that from other people in other cultures unless someone tells me that...But uh, you definitely did enjoy it from my point of view, but on my end it was an error on my part if you ask me.....And of course, but as mentioned before, I meant to type "ShinyTotodile" but forgot the letter "y" in your name, hence "ShinTotodile"...But I guess the name could be used in the near future if you wish to use that as a username during October if you like.
Yeah, at this point I think we've talked good enough on here, and if we need to, we can continue it there if you like.
And Also that is An lot of Pokemon stuff and Cool thing's And Alsi is anyone getting Legends Z-A and And yeah Borg joho starters need more live. And yeah
You can be very sure that I will get the game. I am already expecting that they will also have an accompanying merch line in Japan. I at least recall a bunch of "Legends Arceus" related things like trading card sleeves, folders and the sorts back then.
Happy you say so. If The first partner Pokémon get lucky as Arcenine in the previous game, we might even see something like a Mega Evolution form of sorts.
By the way, you never replied back to me, Kenny. Are you not planning to use an icon on FA any longer? You should know how to upload one by now. =o
