You can now adopt a Totodile / B-day soon
6 months ago
Random Journal, but I just want to inform anybody just in case if they ever wanted a Totodile plushie for themselves:
https://x.com/Jazwares/status/1900585302604796034
(perhaps some help by commenting that they shall sell these in Europe, too?)
Available at US' Target stores in a sale for $18
I want one so bad but Jazwares didn't make them available outside of the US. I hope that most of you guys will get lucky and get one for your personal desire of having a cuddly First Partner Pokémon for your bedside, the desk chair or perhaps the car.
*groaning out of personal plushdesire* They are so cute! 🥺
What are the things you could plead for? Do you collect something? Did you adopt a Totodile today? I'm happy to listen to you about your collections and hobbies. =D
Shiny the Totodile personally likes to pick up various flower and berry seeds to plant in his garden at home. He also got a nice collection of balloons and inflatables thanks to various people he knows around Triepeaks City. He also cherishes all the friendly hatchday gifts in form of plush toys, accessories and other cute and shiny items he received from his dudes.
Speaking of which, not too long until the next b-day on April 2nd. Time flies. If there is anything though I wish for, then it's simply for lots of kindness and joy to you. Thanks for all the things each one of you have shared with me already. ^_^

"Read you soon! Have a balloon!" 🎈(^.=.^)

Yay for collecting hugs, tehehe!
It's definitely neat to observe someone turning a crank and a capsule with a surprise toy pops out. The people making such devices sure knew to make the whole process as intruiging as some Rube Goldberg machines.
The spoons in the size of a finger remind me of little service sets for tea and coffee. I think I've seen some sugar containers with little spoons for smaller sugar portions. Though might just be that it was just in kids size.
Oh! Yes I think the collector spoons are related to the tea service sets specifically. You are correct regarding the small sugar containers with the little spoons. I think it is a part of the service set. For some reason, high society does not favor the 50 packet boxes of Splenda haha 😁
The United States and Japan people are spoiled of the nice goodies that other nations don't even come close to...I'm sorry they're not being sold in your area...I sadly don't collect merch (because I've had nightmares of plushies coming to life and scaring the crap out of me, causing me to scream in my dreams and the plush having the same scary stare back at me, as if no reaction occurs the moment I feel terror in my heart. So hence why I don't buy merch or plushies like those, even though in real life they aren't alive or sentient...But at the same time it's not something I'm willing to buy if you ask me...The drawings of the character is good enough for me).
Regardless, I hope it does sell in your area at some point in the future, even if it's past your birthday or something....but wait, today's your birthday???...Guess I've come across two artists who celebrate their birthdays today.
Ah, I heard about similar stories of people feeling uncomfortable with dolls. I think it's that sort of uncanny valley feel. Though given that most toonier characters usually transition to look more like a frame out of their animation, I usually rather would feel reminded of live-action and animation crossovers...thinking about it, it likely depends though. After all, some people had their reasons to feel eerie about animatronics.
I at least know enough people who's designs lend themselves to a rather cute figure and plush display, which is why my thoughts rather wander towards words like "cuddly", "fun" or "cool". X3
Our chat already revaled to me that you like to collect recordings of shows and movies you enjoyed; I assume you likely must have a big selection of clips and art related to the blueberry fictions you got fascinated with? Kinda a reason why you potentially might enjoy these:
https://www.furaffinity.net/view/48834332/ a six-part sequence silly misadventure that SHiny got into while looking for some berry seeds. 🔵
My b-day is in two weeks on April 2nd.
Yeah. I think when it came to animatronics, they weren't bad because I knew they were more akin to robots, so that's not a bad thing to me. But it's just that one of the weird things about their dolls is that their eyes never close, so they always have a nasty hard stare and a creepy smile whenever you come across them, akin to the cracker jack/the nutcracker style of doll/toy making. I do think the easy way to fix it would to have the eyes be slightly closed and a smile to make it look like they're tired...But after the 2007/2008 mini-nightmare I had where I got out of bed and went down into the basement, only for something in the basement to come alive and terrify me. And yes, this also happened a bit at night where I would be seeing things or experience something happening in real life when I'm awake, up until it disappears at the last second in front of me. But in term of animatronics, I do think anything underwater, whether man made or not, it can terrify me a bit, especially in the dark and if the water's dirty as heck...I don't know how other people are brave, but it can be quite imtimidating and internally terrifying it is to remove something out of the water, or to do maintenance on things outside of water. And heck, it makes it worse when you see the theme park attractions with no water there, and you can see the bare skeleton of the animatronic, dolly rails, and the mechanics necessary to pull off the illusion of movement....So there's a lot of factors, but if the item is at home back when I was younger, I was more likely to feel fear every time I went to bed. But while I may have that fear of the dark here and there, I haven't had a nightmare in nearly 15-14 years since 2010/2011, which disappeared once I turned 21 in December 2016...But that makes sense. I do think films like "The Tourist Trap", "Magic", "Cat's Eye", and "Child's Play" can make someone feel a bit internal terror when that ever happens.
I mean, that's one way to put it, but it's basically what my dad calls me a "Digital Hoarder". Basically anything online that I find interesting, or I love the most, I automatically download it without question, and try to keep it in my storage for as long as possible. But it's not just tv shows and music, most of the time it's videos I find on Youtube or, 90 percent of the time, music and game files needed to be saved or archived and such. As for blueberry inflation, I think it depends on how it's presented. I used to enjoy simple ones in the past until that was not enough for me, and needed something more of a lifestyle approach. To where the characters have known and heard about the blueberry inflation scenario from the wonka films, but being able to experience it in any way shape or form, so long as it doesn't kill them or explode/be stuck as a blueberry forever...And thus, instead of feeling worried they could explode, instead, the creatures/characters I make in my stories, or seeing someone else's characters in their stories, end up enjoying blueberry inflation to the point where they don't mind it, they love it, it feels nice, very relaxing, and pleasure 24/7, so long as there's someone who isn't blueberry inflated can help the individual/creature turn back to normal to do it all over again when the creature has time to do it again.
Alright, I've went through the comic...It's not bad...but it still feels like I've seen this happen many times from different artists where the characters are stuck as blueberries forever and no one is able to rescue them...I don't know, mind is more from the perspective of saying, going through a service that is free to use, and thus, you can transport yourself into the virtual/digital realm where you can meet one of the creatures you would like to do (censored) with and have lots of pleasure with them, or simply someone to hang out with. Which, I have written this story back in 2018 if you're interested in seeing what I mean by this. But this link you gave me of the sequence that looks like it was made back in the late 2010s to early 2020s, it's a fine sequence, but not something that's like a top favorite.
(Gasps) Wooowww, on the same day as Autism Awareness Day??? That's awesome...And yet, that day just so happens to be the Nintendo Switch 2 Overview Direct at 09:00am Eastern Daylight Time...
Ah, okay. I would say, I simply find the premise amusing of how a character turns a different color and the cause of the toony bloating coming from different triggers (sometimes it's also just fine if anyone but Shiny is involved in it and he can be company and see how he can assist). Shiny of course always gtes back into his usual shape soon enough, even if some folks like to remind him with their own little pranks or his curiosity gets the better of him in some self-inflicted experiments. A Half-Toon of a Totodile is always bouncing back for more funfilled shenanigans. =3
Yush, I remembered that from the first teaser trailer. Will definitely watch the next stream and see what they might yet announce in terms of functions and games. Recently learned the remaster of "Croc: Legend of the Gobbos" will also be released on that day.
Yeah...It's a neat comic don't get me wrong, but my type of blueberry inflations are usually more based at home (since that's the location I end up coming back to the most in real life)...But who knows where this one ends up, sad to see the artist lost the original copies of the artwork though.
Yep...And I saw the date of the remaster as well, although it's just the same game that my older sister re-bought a few years back. I at one point have played it, but the PS1 Disc ended up freezing or stopped working when it got to a certain level and I couldn't beat the game, so I went on to another game and never completed the game ever.
I need to re-play a bunch out of my old PS1 yet. I got a cable that is said to work well in upscaling both the PS2 and PS1 and if anything being a good reason enough for doing it would be that I somehow lost my old Memory Card (searched for it on several occasions but it just disappeared...Perhaps it just broke and we forgot that one of my relatives threw it away. ...I have a replacement now though <X3)
Same...Although we didn't have a ton of video games for the 5th generation, but for the 6th generation, man, we had a ton. And then it ended slightly in the 7th gen consoles. And nowadays, mostly play on PC with the exception that my older sister plays on the Nintendo Switch (because of Pokemon of course), and my second older brother for the Playstation 4/5. However, I was able to nudge him to Steam to play Black Ops 1 thanks to using my backup steam account so this way we can play that game on Steam instead of the Xbox 360, but that's about it)...So most of my older siblings have gone to PC gaming, which we've done back in the late 1990s...But again, Our PS1 still works, our Playstation 2 still works...But it's great to see you get another one that works.
I played mostly Nintendo but a relative of mine got me access to PlayStation, another one had SEGA at home and the occasional video game magazine pretty much fueled my interest over the years. Lots of franchises out there of which I hope to try some yet. Last one I got to play was "Astro Bot" (the PS5 demo game that comes pre-installed on each console) at a relative's console and despite not wanting to buy a console, I sure crave playing last year's "Astro Bot" for how adorably animated the game looks. Team Asobi did pour a lot of time into making the little Robot and his pals a fun bunch with many neat platforming levels of pitoresque proportions.
If it comes to PC games that I found intruiguing, there were several music-based games I thought might be fun. There is a platformer/musical game with a little Goat character named "Billie Bust Up" which is said to have a catchy singalong musical score and a colorful cast of characters.
Personslly likely that I catch up on various older console games n the future while occasionally watching what gets playedon newer systems. Simply never felt like researching emulators and don't actually wish to sell off what I collected (from wjich I did pick up some tizles I have yet to properly find time to play, because I don't have ecery system running in one place).
Ahhh, I stopped playing on gaming consoles and went to PC...Consoles to me nowadays are more for "Collector's Items" or to show others what I have in stock that I may not use, unless someone likes to play with it and go from there....
I see...
I've heard about that, but again, I don't buy steam games very often, as it's more of a "if I do play it a lot that's one thing, but I already have enough of what I digitally own (Own through a license) and play those the most" type of games that is...Personal preference I'd say.
Nice, again, much like what I did ten years ago, whichever game you like to seek out from ones released 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35 years back, hopefully you find something that suits your gaming needs.
The same goes for movies and shows. Can easily imagining catching up with some of the 80s/90s shows I missed out on and have some newfound appreciation there. I wish us both much luck in the treasure hunt there with various great impressions down the line. X3
Yeah, again, it depends on the motivation for me to find stuff that's out there that I haven't watched yet. Even the shows from way before I was born in the 1970s, 1960s, and 1950s.
