Years and years ago I left behind an account that had like 400+ followers because I hated the name I had that account under. Had this feature existed like 10 years ago I might have been able to keep the account :( So it goes. I am probably glad i left that account behind anyway since the URL still would have included that stupid old name but it feels so liberating being able to change this one to what i currently go by.

Honestly, a BIG PART of being furry to me is the freedom to shape ones own identity and with that in mind, I think being able to change ones name is fundamental to that principle. This change has been a long time coming and I am glad that FA is finally able to do this.
