Spiritualism, Hate and Enlightenment
I know that most people on a porn site don't care about philosophy, but hear me out... if you want.
I care, damnit. And it's a passion of mine, whether I like it or not.
I'm taking one large step in moving away from Politics. I can't stand it these days. For a long time, I've always thought I was interested in Politics when in reality I wasn't. I am much, much more interested in philosophy. I took a philosophy course recently, and it has been one of the best and worst experiences in my life. Worst because I can never look at the world the same way as everyone else does. And I have my own set of morals that I'll defend vigorously.
I like Christianity and Islam for their empathy, but I don't like them for their hypocrisy. I like Buddhism for its wisdom but not its cynicism. Both sides share the common goal of finding truth and enlightenment. That's putting it really simply, but that's the vibes I get. Even if I much prefer Buddhism over all, among a few other groups. Christianity and Islam would be C-tier at best.
I can say for sure that I don't like organized religion.
Some of the worst people I've ever met are part of a group. But I can say the same about any person in an organization, religious or political. And organizations I don't like tend to mix religion and politics. I love this quote from Terry Pratchett, saying that "Evil begins when you begin to treat people as things.". Politics, by its very nature, treats people as things, a pawn on a chessboard. Politics is a parasite that turns people into pawns, like what Cordyceps does to its victims. It takes away the humanity of its victim and marches them towards death without a thank you. Or sometimes, it shows the worst aspects of humanity.
The hypocrisy is even worse. If I got a penny for every "I Hate Degenracy" guy I see on the internet, only to find that their profile has so much gooner trash it makes my porn commissions look like an Imperial Court of Eunuchs by comparison, I could buy all of Amazon threefold. I hated the hypocrisy the most.
I'm not perfect; I've said some nasty things because I was angry. Politics made me angry. Another quote I like is from Yoda:
"Fear is the path to the dark side … fear leads to anger … anger leads to hate … hate leads to suffering."
And realizing that has made me sad for a while until I decided to ask why I was angry. Then I realized that all this anger is pointless. And I realized that I shouldn't fall into nihilism, but have a better moral foundation for myself. In simple terms, "Be the World You Want to See.". You can call that naive and kind of sappy, but I don't mind it.
I prefer philosophy over politics because politics takes away nuance. And I know this is all super lame and reddit-tier, but I gotta let it out or it'll make me go crazy. It just shows I need to get over my writing phobia.

Hypocrisy is part of the grand plan. Denounce your foes for doing what you do.
... A politician should be a civil servant, a leader, not a ruler. Someone who helps people, not works for corporations or their own self interest. But... The world is corrupt... Corporations and dark groups have learned how to manipulate the world to get what they want, and they've learned, they do not have a pay for it. They can be as degenerate as they want while sending their police to punish or kill people who do exactly what they do.
... Philosophy is so much nicer... But many politicize it now... Thank you for sharing your thoughts.
Speaking of hypocrites, I only had one person call me a degenerate. That same person was into bestiality. Deadass.
