Last night on Twitter, I saw a post from one of my mutuals that Funko is gonna be rolling out with Pops of characters from Hazbin Hotel. Honestly, I never thought this day would come, and I’m not gonna buy them because I completely distanced myself from the Funko community after having sold my collection one batch at a time. Don’t get me wrong, Hazbin Hotel is a great show, but even I’m not buying the Funko Pops of the characters. I haven’t gotten any new Pops since Christmas of 2021, and I had plans for selling my Pops as far back as a year ago. This was mainly due to stupid decisions from the company such as NFTs, destroying $36 million worth of shit, to sinking to a new low by collaborating with Skibidi Toilet of all things. Collaborating with Hazbin Hotel is probably an attempt for Funko to try and redeem themselves, but I have my doubts. I can guarantee you that a lot of Helluverse fans are gonna pass on these Pops. So I’m obviously not alone. Instead, I’m just gonna keep collecting the Youtooz figures, which are better looking despite having a higher price tag, but they’re worth it despite the fact that I’ve already scratched 3 Hazbin figures off my list so far. One of my mutuals on Twitter thinks this is actually a call from Amazon since they own Prime Video, which is entirely possible. Either way, I’m not collecting the Hazbin Hotel Funko Pops. If someone were to get some for me, they’re getting sold. If Helluva Boss Funko Pops were to get made by some chance, then it’ll be same drill; I’ll simply not buy them despite how much I like the show. I’m just gonna stick to Youtooz instead.
