Profile Archives, Part I
Since I'm updating my profile today, I thought that I'd keep an archive of my old profiles here in my journal. Of course, up to this point, I really only have the first one to archive. XP
My IM's are as follows, for those of you who feel like talking. But be forewarned, I DO NOT START CONVERSATIONS; unless I know you VERY well, or feel comfortable doing so with you. I'm a little bit of a social recluse in that nature, and don't like trying to initiate contact with strangers.
Go ahead and try to talk to me even if I appear as 'BRB' or offline. Sometimes I throw myself on invisible to get away form some of the more ingratiating folks.

PRE-NOTE!
Yes, I DO yiff! ^-^ But only with friends; people I trust. I'm not necessarily a slut, as much as I am a 'friend with benefits', as it were. So you need to get to know me first, and I need to get to know you, before anything of that nature can happen. *nods*
((WE BOTH SAY:))
Who am I? I am a writer.
Who am I? I am an actor.
Who am I? I am a philosopher.
One with a soft spot for the herms. ^-^
((WOLFDOG SAYS:))
I am but a genderless, immortal entity.
But, WHY am I immortal? Because I am undead? Perhaps. Because I was once a god? Perhaps. Because I'm insane, blood-thirsty and won't die until I get what I want? Perhaps.
No. It's because I am an idea. I am but the representation of all that is dark and repressed in the mortal psyche. And like any idea, I can never be completely killed.
((I SAY:))
I am a friend, a shadow, a creator, a nightmare, a spinner of tales. I take things that do not exist and I infuse my essence into them, giving them susbstance. I take things to do exist and steal their being, destroying their reality.
So, let's see. The name's Daniel, which you'll see if you download any of my stories. I'm into gaming, game design and RPing. Catch me on one of my IM or forums, if you want to start something. I'm a bi-racial (black/white), polyamorous, omnisexual male. My interests include music, gaming, philosophy, reading and writing. I'm trying to become a professional actor.
My religious beliefs are a bit complicated, but I'll say this much as to what I believe. All religions have some truth, in so much as they exist. But all religions are full of lies, at least to me they are, in so much as that almost every one of them claims to be the only 'true' religion, the only 'true' path to salvation. I say, if it works for someone; don't knock it. Why rock the boat when you don't need to, and risk capsizing?
ROCK THE BOAT, DON'T ROCK THE BOAT BABY.
What can you expect to see from me, artwise?
1. Stories (Short stories and the RARE novel I may or may not be working on...)
2. MS Paint drawings (I do stick-figure art; get over it. Besides, I have a shtick, if you'll forgive the unintentional and horrible pun; Stick figure art, WITH CLOTHING! AND IN REALISTIC ENVIRONMENTS! ZOMG!)
3. Poetry. Perhaps not as much as I'd like, but my muse is short, sweet and to the point. I'd like to think...
What can you expect to see from me, journalwise?
Not a whole lot. I really only use my journal here to talk about my art, and to advertise for my projects. If you want to know about me, personally, you're going to have to talk to me on IM, email me, or go to my livejournal (the link for which is in one or more of my journals). My lj is really the only place I put the goings on in my personal life, and even then I only update it sporadically. Deal with it.
What can you expect in my writings?
A lot of controversial things, really. Main characters who are both likable for their tolerance, and dispisable for their close-mindedness. References to the reality that not all child-adult romantic relationships are for sex, and not all are harmful. Incestual relationships. Gay stuff (no, literally, GAY stuff). Dark worlds with depressive themes; yet worlds that present a sense of hope for a brighter future. Violence, hatred, and assumptions on everyone's part. A detatchment from the American syndrome of Dychotomity; not every situation boils down to who's in the right, and who's in the wrong.
Deal with it.

What are more of your thoughts on the seeming duality of human nature?
All throughout history, humanity has had to be readily adaptable and interchangable to survive; that's why it has thrived in so many different environments and sets of cultural norms.
Unfortunately, in the last thousand years or so, we suddenly realized that we don't HAVE to adapt ourselves to the environment; we can adapt IT to US. And thus began the the greatest leap of technological evolution the human race has ever seen. And its still going on today.
But we haven't yet evolved again, psychologically, to deal with the kinds of things that we can do today, to deal with the kinds of situtaions we get thurst in on a minute-to-minute basis.
So, you get two MAIN kinds of people; there are others, but they aren't as common. You get those who don't know how to see past what they're told to see, and those who can't stop questioning every little thing that comes their way; even to the point of pushing all the good things they might have had away from themselves.
If...that...made...any...sense... >_> That was an overly-complicated way of saying something...
truthfully, instead of measureing society by it's technological advances, they should measure it by the treatment and care of the lowest class. The rise and fall of most civilizations has been mirrored in the lower and middle classes.
And that's because these are the classes where the largest chunk of the whole society's work load is laden.
Historically, the lower class is left to fulfill the necessary grunt work, to make up the labor force; while the middle class ends up in positions of management and planning. Whereas the upper class takes all the areas of true leadership.
I have enough audacity ( ^^; ) to say that the occupations filled by the lower and middle classes are what every society must have in order to function properly. Without it, a society would collapse in on itself; as history has proved time and time again.
So when the lower and/or middle classes refuse to give up their labors and services to those of the upper class, everything gets turned all topsy-turvey.
However, whether that's true or not, and as off-topic as it may be, it isn't necessarilly a bad thing. After all, in every society that crumbled due to its own greed or similar desire, there have always been those few who resisted that selfish movement and used their influence to try and fix things. But, I digress; I'm rambling now. :^()
Either way; Who is this person?
on a table, there are seven objects; three rings, one black, one white, and one gray, your own hand, a large diamond, a mirror and a leaf. choose one.
But, I'm going to choose the leaf. Even after it shrivels and dies, it's still a pleasent reminder that death is a natural part of life, and nothing to be feared. ^^
But in this instance, it represents the purest forms of art and music,
the symbolism of a closer translation of a state of being.
