I've come across many video game music that I wanna remix and junk....but I can't without the thingy to do it with.... '3'
audacity is an editor
FL Studio 9 - Rather fun but it still has some limitations. That's the one I use.
Reason 4/5 (5 is beta, I don't know if there's a full release) - I never used Reason but I've heard it's good
Cubase 5 - That one's one of the most professional music apps. I still can't find the patience to make a well done track with it.
Oh, whatever the music maker you use is, you should get a good collection of VSTi's (VST: Virtual Sound Tool - i: instrument). I get that there might be good packages of Reason and Cubase, and FL Studio brings interesting stuff, but still, you need to have a collection of your own.
