Okie, here it goes. A list of twenty different topics is provided. Tell me what you think about each subject, in as much or as little depth as you want. Feel free to post this in your own journals, too.

6. Power and Influence - overrated. Consider the story of Ozymandius.
7. Fun - without it, what's the point?
8. Success - should be defined by your ideals, not others.
9. Losing Sight of One's Ideals - see 8.
10. The Point of Life - leave the world a little better place.
11. Betrayal - one of the worst things a person can do.
12. Dreaming and the Imagination - the thing that gives us hope and joy.
13. Deviant Love and Sex - learn to truely appreciate the simple things first.
14. Money - is like manure - it should be spread around to make good things grow.
15. Faith - highly overrated and leads to 11.
16. Becoming Corrupted - is never obligatory.
17. Apathy - when you're finally too tired to keep on fighting.
18. Freedom, Rights and Personal Choice - an illusion, a direction and a responsibility often denied.
19. The Nature of Corruption - temptation or exhaustion.
20. Morality - the definition of a person's character.
2. Wisdom – As I usually put it: “Knowledge is gained by learning, experience is gained by doing. When both are applied: that is Wisdom.”
3. Positive vs. Negative emotions – The best solution is to find a proper balance for each. Too much of a good thing can be bad, but negativity can tear you apart. I guess one way to resolve the negative emotions is to realign the energy and output something positive from the negative.
4. War and Conflict – I dislike war, and I honor those people fighting for us and anyone else. I think war is pointless and nothing more than an elaborate chess game played by higher authorities.
5. Tolerance – Sometimes we must tolerate things to get by, and through, and to understand that everything is not always at our beck and call.
6. Power and Influence – With gaining power, we gain influence, but with both we must use cautiously and with respect, otherwise both will turn you into something you’re not.
7. Fun – Life needs fun. We cannot slave and work ourselves to death without some form of release.
8. Success – Success is a measure of our achievements. Other times it merely is the lucky flip of a coin, or, being at the right place at the right time.
9. Losing Sight of One's Ideals – I think Spider man 2 put it best – “Sometimes we have to be steady, and give up the things we want most, even our dreams.” But I think it means more that to achieve the dream, we must be steady and push for it, even if sometimes sacrifices of things we enjoy must be made.
10. The Point of Life – Life is meant to be lived. It may be hard, and sometimes we have nothing to believe in, but life is a beautiful thing, and just to live it, and to achieve what you want most out of life.
11. Betrayal – Betrayal is never a good option or path to take. It only gives you heartache.
12. Dreaming and the Imagination – Two values I pride myself upon. As I just learned last night, I believe Albert Einstein said it best: “Imagination is greater than intelligence.”
13. Deviant Love and Sex – I’m a novice in that subject…*blush* Why don’t I have anyone to be with?
14. Money – Money is a necessity, if an evil one. People have killed for money. For PAPER, of all things. -.-
15. Faith – Faith is a strong thing to have, but we must not devote ourselves so fully into our faith we become blinded by it.
16. Becoming Corrupted – I’m drawing a blank for this one…
17. Apathy – Sometimes we become numb to everything, to protect ourselves from feeling pain.
18. Freedom, Rights and Personal Choice – Everyone is a human being, everyone should be treated the same, regardless of race, gender, or nationality.
19. The Nature of Corruption – The want or the need to do something that deviates from society’s laws, and enjoying it.
20. Morality – A vital element in understanding more than the common sheep of society.
Damned if I know. All I know is that love is needed, and essencial. I know there are varing degrees of love. I know, that at least for me, it's more than possible to be in love with more than one person. I know that without love many of us would simply shrivel away. Love. So much can be said, but there simply is not enough words in the human language. All I know, is that I need love.
2. Wisdom. Wisdom. Another debatable thing. Some say you only earn wisdom through age, Others say "he/she is wise beyond her years" Wisdome is something very intresting indeed. Earned? oh I believe so yes. I also believe one must have an open mind to be able to gain wisdom. I have met 14 year olds with more wisdome than most 60 year olds. I won't lie, it still astonishes me. I've heard some say i'm wise, but... in all honesty? I'm not sure If I am. But wisdom, like love, is very important, and needed. Without it, we'd not have lessons, we'd not grow, we'd not learn to become better for ourselves.
3. Positive vs. Negative emotions: 2 sides of the same coin. You cannot have one without the other. One cannot survive without the other. And both are needed. It's just the matter of what you do with both.
4. War and Conflict. War and conflict..This..this one is tough for me. I'ma pasifist. I hate violence. And I dispise confrontations. I beleive a lot of things can be talked out. Then again, I'm also a surealist, and my hopes and dreams are a little beyond what the human condition can handle. I don't think humans Can survive without war. Power comes into play far to much. So does stubborness. War and Conflict is part of our human condition, and sadly inevitable.
5. Tolerance: Something that we as people need more of! Tolorence goes with open mindness. As far as I'm concernd, as long as no one is harmed, there is no reason why we cannot be more tolerant of things. Belifs, sexuality, opinions. We as people are Suppose to be unique, We have free will, and with that comes free thought and responciblity. We arn't Suppose to be "sheeps" That being said, we would do ourselves good if we learned to be more tolorent.
6. Power and Influence: Absoulute power corrupts absolutly. Or...With power comes great responciblity. There will always be someone with "power" depending on your definition of it. It however, depends on what people choose to do with that "power" And "Influence". On the one hand, because people Are sheep, or lemmings..depending on your take...we need to have that "leader of the pack" That's our mentality. That being said, it's very tempting to corrupt that power once it's had. With power, comes greed. For those too weak to fight it.
7. Fun:: Eeeee Fun! I like fun, but like everything else on this list? That too is open to debate. Fun is simply ...well..Fun! [why do I suddenly wanna sing the fun song from spongebob?] Fun like everything else, is Very much needed. And I say we need more fun dammit!
8. Sucess: hmm.. do we mean monatary? or Other. On the monatary level, i'm so none sucsessful it's not even funny. On the matter of life? I'm still wondering how i suceeded in living to This age now. I think it's good to have sucess. Of course it is, it helps you learn and grow, and be proud of yourself. Be it big or small.
9. Losing Sight of One's Ideals: Is a sad thing indeed. People change, opinions change, all of that is normal, but when you lose sight of your own ideals, you lose sight of the very reason for living. It's fine for them to change and grow as you do, but to lose them completly, means you've lost your will for life. That you'll simply float away down the river, lost in the endless see of nothingness. Sound a little...extreme? Perhaps. After all, I'm a furrie and supposedly we're known for being dramatic. ^^ I like to think of it as painting a picuture though. Anways, That's my take on it.
10. The Point of Life: The point of life, Something like love, many debate on. What is the point of life? Are we just here to procreate? Or is there something more? I believe the point of life is simply this. To Live. Now, take that any way you wish. Who am I to tell anyone what thier point of life is?
11. Betrayal: Is very painful As anyone whos been betrayed would know. So, what does one do about it? Is there anything that Can be done? Yes, there is. But that would require the whole human race to grow up. There is not much I can say about betrayal, except that...to allow one self to feel the pain, and then learn from it. Learn the Actual lesson, not take the easy way out and either dismiss it, or shut yourself away.
12. Dreaming and the Imagination:; Beautiful dreamer...la da dee dum...Such a wonderful gift we have, To be able to dream, to imagine things, to..take ourselves out of this plane of existance, and place ourselves elswhere. What would we do without imagination and dreams? We would wither away and die. Imagination brought us art, music, movies, games, Life! Dreams sparks those things,
13. Deviant Love and Sex: Hmmm. I'm not sure how to answer this one. Perhaps because Devient is sort of a matter of opinion? some consider having sex in any other poisition as devient.
14. Money: Can't we just go back to the barter system? Please? Money causes so many issues, it's not even close to funny. :(
15. Faith: We all need something to believe in. We all need a little faith, even in ourselves. Faith is another thing that is very important in our lives, and Faith plays a part in every thing that has been listed thus far in this...meme [for lack of a better word atm] Without faith of any sort, we would be stagnent.
16. Becoming Corrupted: Something that is all to easy to do. However define Corrupted? There is of course the silly fun sort, like the things i tend to do apprently ^^ make someone all silly and "dirty minded" However,t here is of course the more serious of the word. The one that creates disesntion, greed, pain. I'm not sure if it's something that Can be avoided. Nor do i know the level it can go, or even begin. And again, there is the whole line on what really Is corrupted. Is our goverment corrupted? Many would say no. Many would say yes as well. So I suppose it's matter of what you feel is right or wrong.
17. Apathy: Apathy...hmmm This is something i dn't think I know to much on, or understand really. I do wonder however, if apathy is simply another..well..form of shield to keep one from getting hurt. Perhaps so, sometimes the pain gets to be so much, that you either become apathic, or shut down entierly. But Agian, i'm not fully sure, it's something I do not have much exeriance with.
18. Freedom, Rights and Personal Choice All comes with Great responciblity. And comes with Tolorance. And Faith. And Wisdom, and so much more. We have this gift of freedom, there is no reason why we should Fight for it, except for the fact that there are those that have become Corrupted and want to take that away. Take away rights, and freedom, and personal choice, because They have power and corruption.
19. The Nature of Corruption I believe is Greed. Greed and perhaps insecurity on a deeper level. The need for power the desire to have more and more. Believing that the one with the most toys wins.
20. Morality Morals. the very fabric of what is right and wrong. However where is the line from what We feel is right or wrong, or what Society feels? Society for a long time felt that it was wrong, for a woman to be allowed to think. Society for a long time thought that homosexuality was immoral, that abortion for Any reason, including impregnation from rape is immoral. So...I dn't think society is a good judge on what is moral.
So, who is? I think our consious is. At least to some degree. I suppose it would be easy for someone to say that Raping someone is moral because They feel it is. But that's not the case is it? We know that hurts someone, pain is caused, suffering is ensued. Taking away one's on power, and free will is caused, corruption, betryal, decite, all of that caused by that one action..thus making it immoral.
There is no easy answer to any of these questions, at least...not for me anways. I'm sorry if some of it seems like incomplete thoughts, perhaps in a sence they are. These are after all, simply my opinion, and as I grow, and experiance more in life, those opinions may very well change, or stay the same, or expand to include more things. ^^ The beauty is? I reserve that right.
On a final note, If I sound preachy, I do applogize, It was not my intent. Please understand that this is simply my opinion, and not meant to be shoved down anyone's throat. For my opinion may very well Not work for another, and that is perfectly fine.

I think this is one the most intelligent things I've ever read... So even if someone does think you sound preachy... It all balances out in the end! :D
I have however read the other responces, and their's too is wonderful. You hun, have some very insightful and intelligent friends ::hughughug::
2. Wisdom- ah, wisdom. There is a difference between intelligence and wisdom. Wisdom can be gained, yes, so do not fret if you are smart, or intelligent, but lack deep understanding of things. It will come in time. (or it wont) I for one, have wisdom in me, as many do, but I feel that I do not deserve to be called wise(unless followed up by 'ass' ) I have much experience in life to gain, but one thing that shall lead me to wisdom, i my common sense, which I have an abundance of ^^
3. Positive vs. Negative emotions- this one is tricky. some positive can come from negative and vice versa, so I believe that both are necessary to understand the other. eg) love cannot be truly felt without having experienced heartache, a sort of despairity. no one can know happy without sad, etc, etc.
4. War and Conflict- i hate that conflicts arise between the same beings, we just happen to have weapons, because god left out 'claws' on his list of things to give humans... along with fur, but thats another story.. unfortunately, war is part of our survival, yes of course i believe we can avoid it, but can a hungry cheetah watch a gazelle hop along all merrily in front of it? Maybe, but then again it's hungry, we just happen to be hungry for power, which has many forms, some it's innovation "a better tomorrow" other its, money, and for the pasifists, I'm sorry, I am among you. We will watch on the sidelines of history..
5. Tolerance- this I have. FOR ALL YOU CLOSE MINDED PEOPLE- FUCK YOU. Of course every one has their limits, I even do, but on the whole, if you don't have any tolerance for things like race, sexuality, ethnicity, etc etc.. you're not worth my time, or the worlds for that matter.. sorry to break it to you.
6. Power and Influence- I believe wisdom should be next to power here >.> power must not be thought od lightly. And total power isn't good for anyone really... Many are influenced to have or get power. They, in my opinion, lack self disipline and wisdom above all else. We entrust power to those deaned worthy of maintaining it.
7. Fun- *dances* Everyone needs some fun now and then, but please lay off drugs and drunk driving ^^; In my opinion we should add a new day of the week, or maybe just change one of those days to 'Funday!' lol
8. Sucess- sucess comes to some with talent, others from hard work, and even others, from gambling, etc. Success on a whole, idk- go play 'LIFE' see if you make it, lol
9. Losing Sight of One's Ideals- I've come so close to this myself.... Imma skip this one..
10. The Point of Life- TO LIVE. simply put. If you want a more complex in depth answer then you figure out the formula, what all the other stuff thrown in the way then? what's with the hardships? death? No one has all the answers, The meaning of Life many have their opinions on... I wonder what other creatures think about their lives... I wonder if they ponder about things like: "why am I here? doing the same ting day in, and day out?" maybe someday we as a species, will know.
11. Betrayal- a stab in the back, a reverse effect, a conflict of interest. PAIN. Yes, it hurts, and if any of you haven't experienced it, I cannot determine whether it was for the better, or not. It feels like you got hit by a car, but didn't see it comming, not for one millisecond. Just BAM- and then everything else comes in slow motion. Some times the pain leads to anger, sometimes anger after sadness. It's amazing how our emotions lead to another. Some times it takes time to sink in, other times, we give up, we don't care anymore, no even about ourselves (save you, depending on situation and relationship with those involved, it varies) some of us come back stronger, others, weaker maybe, but more cautious.
12. Dreaming and the Imagination- this is the very thing I savor, where would I be without my imagination? I don't want to even consider thingking about it. Dreams take us to a place away from reality, and all our troubles seep away out of us, of course they may come ruching back all too soon once we open our eyes, but the break was well worth it in my opinion. Other times, our dreams turn on us, and turn into nightmares, where our troubles bother us there as well as in real life. Sometimes messages are hinted and scattered in our dreams, and we are left to decode them. And then there are foredreams.. some sixth(or 7th, lol) sense that lies within our subconscience, that warns us of whats comming, or what we must do to prevent something from happening. You've all experienced it: da ja vous~ even when you swear what's happening has never happened before [just hopefully none of your foredreams become the next Final Destination...]
13. Deviant Love and Sex- love is love (may there be sex involved? that's your decision) whether it be between humans, gays, animals, a mix.....
14. Money- money makes the world go round? ( I wish bill gates would share *sob*)
15. Faith- believe in whatever makes you happy.
16. Becoming Corrupted- all too easy to be influenced by certain things or people, and have your brain washed out and turn into a total corrupt- yeah that's all I got for this one.. <_<
17. Apathy- to not feel, to be in total, idk, oblivion, or ignorance? Wish I had that when I go all emo -_-'
18. Freedom, Rights and Personal Choice- YES, yes, YESH.
19. The Nature of Corruption- jealousy, turning snakes into the sea, invader zim.. greed. end.
20. Morality- ah morality-morals, yes, yes, they are written as children's books and fed into our brains as we grow older... but I believe before that, we have smoe sense within us of right and wrong, good and bad, maybe not a clear understanding, soem come with time,a nd experience. But what, say, the world looks at as wrong or right? idk, it's not that simple, I think. I believe there are gray areas, undertones, and splashes of colour, "OH NOOES! I CAN'T ORGANIZE MY CRAYONS!!!" that is what the world is like today, they can't figure out what goes where. WHY DOES ANYTHING HAVE TO GO ANYWHERE? Let Us be. Let us decide whats right and whats wrong. unless of course someone tries to argue that murder is right... then imma have to kill someone myself..

10. The Point of Life-To improve yourself and everything that surrounds you, to evolve spiritually and physically, and of coarse... To understand.
11. Betrayal-Finally realizing you have nothing in common
12. Dreaming and the Imagination-Because sometimes its just not going to exist, or happen, ever.
13. Deviant Love and Sex-Understanding your limits and indulging in them frequently.
14. Money-Root of all evil
15. Faith-Faith in yourself is more valuable than any religion could offer.

17. Apathy-When its got nothing to do with you, or anyone you know.
18. Freedom, Rights and Personal Choice-Degraded every day, by unrealistic morals.
19. The Nature of Corruption-Religion "Getting them while their young since 200A.D."
20. Morality-The single most conflicted topic to date.
