I'm so fucking sick of doctors. It seems like I get a different answer every single time I see one. Yesterday, I saw an ENT about my constant ear infections, and he says he thinks I'm just having jaw pain. Also had him test my hearing, and he said it was fine. I caught a whiff of bullshit, so I go see an audiologist for a second opinion and, what do you know, I failed the hearing test big time. It wasn't a small margin of error either. The difference was 20 decibels...pretty much the difference between "the low end of normal" and "moderate hearing loss requiring hearing devices for correction." And the audiology place is run by my family, so I know they aren't trying to make a profit off me. That isn't my only beef though. I've been having seizures for over 10 years now, and I've seen multiple neurologists and neurosurgeons about what the cause could be. I've gotten at least 5 different answers. Everything from epilepsy to "you're imagining it." If anyone knows a doctor that has something like, oh I dunno, a brain...or common sense, please tell me so that I might be able to get some fucking help with these issues.
