Being taught to avoid talking about Politics and Religion has led to a lack of understanding of Politics and Religion. What we should have been taught was how to have a civil conversation about a difficult topic.
Today, Missy is complaining because she has licked all the aspic from the can of super supper I laid down for her this morning and wants more. I am not sure, but I can be pretty sure that vocalizing is a sign she's not so sick.
in these cases, weight is good. why? Why would I want my cat to be obese? because they can't tell you when something is wrong, and often will simply sleep when they don't feel well, while the issue saps their appetite and you don't notice till they have lost a pound or two.. Fat gives you more resources than rail-thin-ness. you live longer if you have the guts to feed yourself on. not that it's pleasant, but it'll save your life.
