When life gives you lemons...

...throw them at your enemies; they make good targets~
Well this afternoon was...interesting. For the first time in over 3-4 years, a guy in real life and not online asked me out! *gasps* Yes, yes, it is the apocalypse everyone. And for my lovely new watchers, yes, I am in fact a female in real life- that's even scarier I know, lol. Anyway, it was another typical work day coming to a close- I was waiting on the bus to reach the hospital so I could head back home, when this guy calls out to me by the lobby. I think nothing of it, figuring he just wanted directions or had a question about a patient...ya know, something simple. He begins to ask my name, age, location and was I single. Ugh, I think I let out an audible groan but I humored him...afterall, worse case, he might be a new friend I could hang out or work out with, game and watch shows and anime with, right? That and unlike some people I've come across, I try not to be presumptuous of others- that's the reason time and time again guys have passed me up (among other reasons I'm sure) because once they see me, they make some preconceived notion about how I act, feel, think and should be *snorts*
Haha, well unfortunately he proved me wrong. Not only was he a typical male just looking for a...for a lack of better words, "fling" but said he had just gotten out of jail for drug related charges *raises a brow* Uh...huh- first time being asked out in nearly 5 years and it's by an ex-con? Yay morale booster! LOL. I'm sorry but I couldn't help but laugh at the irony of the situation. I politely told him I wasn't interested and moved on. I'm not one of those women drawn to "bad boys" ...just geeks and gamers that don't have criminal records. So moral of that story? You never know when you'll be asked out...just make sure the other person doesn't have criminal charges
PC and other geeky stuff
Moving on to other things- for those of you that are familiar with my pc issues (see last two journals for more info) Thanks to the help of

it seems I've traced the problem- the video card or gpu fan is more or less ready to croak. After running gw2 this past weekend, I did a temperature reading on it and sure enough? yeah, the temp on it is just way too high for comfort (click here if you're just that interested) which probably explains why it makes a "clicking" sound when running high memory/high graphic games. Thankfully I have a very awesome friend that's offered to send me a video card to replace mine so hopefully I'll be back to gaming up a storm shortly!
Otherwise, life is good- mostly been focusing on my job, getting into some new anime and trying my damnest to make new friends and buddies to replace my fairweather, not so reliable "friends" I currently have to keep the grumps and depression at bay. In addition, I'll be posted some new arts I've commissioned shortly, though some of them are as fairly old; I just really hate spamming y'alls pages with submissions, gah knows some of you get enough of that as is.
Until later, hasta luego~

n ex-conclown!" XDHaha, wow that sounds hilarious... Wonder if i'll get hit on by any ex-con junkie women if I get out more often!
(On second though, I don't think I wanna know.)
and huh, that card is pulling the same temp as my previous one - the one with the "jet engine" of a fan.
So yeah, glad you figured it out~
Yeah, this beast is turning into a pain in the rear. Problem is I'm not sure if it's the card...or the gpu fan causing the issue. When my friend comes down here to look at my pc next month, I'm gonna have him give it a once over, probably replace the case fans with some quiter ones (zalman) and add an extra 8gb of memory to prep for the elder scrolls online game [on a sidenote, did you make beta for it?] along with some other gaming. I just got witcher 2 last weekend so really eager to try that out.
Anyway, how's life on your end? I keep seeing on you messenger but I swear everytime I get on, people want to jump on headset with me! lol, one day I'll chat with you dang it
No beta for me yet (or ever? I dunno, depends how assholey the Bethesda boys feel like being to be).
Life is sore on my end. Don't ask how, but I just revamped (and somehow managed to fit a dining table in) my bedroom; it's half sticking out of my walk-in closet covered in computer screens. It's cramped as fuck, but at least it can fit my monitors and I get to use an actual chair for a change... I do some seriously whacky shit when it comes to organizing furniture. :I
Welp, I have headset-phobia so you'll be 'rite. xD I don't usually have any desire to webcam or voice chat with people that i'm not dating anyways, so I shouldn't be that much of a pain in the ass, rofl.
Good luck with the PC.
glad you found out the problem with your computer.
Yeah, I have my friend sending me a radeon graphics card (I'm assuming a fan is coming with it) and FeuerfuchsKA8 will be helping me to install it when he finally gets his butt down here in a few weeks
I'm sorry that I wasn't able to help ^^; I'm still a Lil noob but I'm learning a lot in my externship at the school.
