Ox crossed with a wolfcat...

I actually have
JadeBleufox to thank for this after reading her journal- that and I'm bored at work and need a timesink so feel free to ignore this if you're sick of memes, don't follow or believe in astrology/horoscopes or you just don't like reading journals (which makes me wonder why you're here in the first place). I just felt like doing something to make my day go by a little faster. That and after reading about my chinese zodiac? It's pretty damn accurate if I say so myself.
The parts in bold emphasize things that are especially true about me. So for those of you too lazy to read the whole thing? just read the bolded parts if you want an idea of how I am:
Ox people are hard-working and persistent, they can stick at a task longer and go at it harder than anybody. They believe in themselves and tend to classify almost everything into two basic categories, bad and good. They hold up their high standards as a model and severely judge those who don't aspire to maintain these same ideals.
Ox people are not social or party animals, they tend to be quiet when in a party. Although appears to be tranquil, in fact, Oxens are ponderous but impulsive when angry. They are capable of fearsome rages, therefore, it is better not to cross an Oxen.
(THIS is especially true and why it's not wise to get on my bad side)
Ox people are observant, they have remarkable memories and are good at reporting on absolutely everything they observe. Go ask an Oxen if he remembers who were at the party 8 months ago, most likely, he will name them one by one to you.
Ox people are stubborn and dogmatic, they believe in their decision and will never regret. They are also very close to their families. disappointedly, Oxens often find that those who are close to them fail to understand them. Nevertheless, they are patient, and caring and that makes the Oxen the best friend you can ever have.
Oxens are very responsible and loyal. Ox people are seldom jealous. but they will be jealous of their rights; and the fidelity of a husband or a wife is one of their rights. They are very family-oriented, conservative and faithful.
The Ox works hard, patiently, and methodically, with original intelligence and reflective thought. These people enjoy helping others. Behind this tenacious, laboring, and self-sacrificing exterior lies an active mind. While their balance and strength inspire confidence, Oxen can seem rigid, obstinate, and slow. They impress others as leaders, fearing neither responsibility nor risk. However, sometimes they must labor long hours to accomplish little.
People born under the influence of the Ox are kind, caring souls, logical, positive, filled with common sense and with their feet firmly planted on the ground. Security is their main preoccupation in life, and they are prepared to toil long and hard in order to provide a warm, comfortable and stable nest for themselves and their families. Strong-minded, stubborn, individualistic, the majority are highly intelligent individuals who doen't take kindly to being told what to do.
Although Ox people don't ask to be put in the limelight, they do like to be boss, for these quietly dominant types enjoy being in positions of power. Oxen try to instill in those around them the rigor, determination and power of work which they themselves possess. Respecting others, they are always open to a dialogue. Even though they may not broadcast their virtues to the world, nevertheless it is that steady, conscientious attitude that will deservedly see them to the top.
The Oxen's childhood and youth will generally be without incident. It is in the second part of their lives that they will encounter difficulties to do with their marriage. Their partners may well take offense at their apparent indifference and seek consolation elsewhere in an attempt to find the romance so conspicuously absent at home (*snorts* that is especially true). Oxen have no time for a deviation they are unable to understand.
The Affectionate Ox
Oxen make solid, steady, reliable partners. They can be tender, devoted, sensual even -- but they are never romantic. Very affectionate to those close to their hearts, they are cool and distant to anyone outside their emotional circle. Getting close to an Ox is a very difficult thing to do, for they hold all but their chosen few at arm's length. However, once they have committed themselves, they make loyal, steadfast lovers and are the least likely of all the signs to possess a roving eye. Casual love affairs are definitely not the Ox's style (read- poly, open relationships and flings? Will NEVER happen with me). Although they may not show it, their emotions are deep and passionate. If their love is spurned or if they should suffer a broken heart, they will retreat inside themselves and channel all their emotions into their work. Generally, they make no mistakes in their judgment of others, successfully merging their romantic and family lives. Happily settled in a contented relationship, an Ox will make a supportive and faithful partner, someone whose love grows stronger by the year and whose sterling qualities are worth his or her weight in gold
tl;dr- I'm a persistent yet stubborn, hardworking and loyal person that finds it VERYhard to trust and open up to others. But the few I do choose to let into my life? have my trust, respect, friendship and/or a partner for life. I'm a true introvert, hanging around my close friends only. I have no problem being honest, sometimes to the point others are turned off by my bluntness (I'm not gonna sugarcoat things for anyone, sorry). Otherwise I'm very calm and easy to get along with as long as you don't push your lifestyle on me...and I won't push mine on you
Oh yeah, here's the link if you want to see what it says about you: http://pages.infinit.net/garrick/ch.....ese/index.html
...I looked up some of my other friends (at least those whose dob I know) and believe it or not? Describes them quite well

Go figure I'd get landed with the most lamest animal (I missed out on the snake by a little under a month!) </3
Horses love to be in the crowd, maybe that is why they can usually be seen in such occasions like concerts, theaters, meetings, sporting occasions, and of course, parties...the Horse is cut out to be in politics, a career which could bring great personal satisfaction with the opportunity to grind his own axe. He could be a winner here, for he has the facility to sway the crowd.
...
Well...I didn't say they were accurate for everyone, LOL
It's like I always say - "Life just wouldn't be worth living without all those headache-inducing crowds. <3"
Full of shitty, annoying people to keep you company; one can simply never go wrong with too much crowd~
Hell, I think could go for a little bit of crowd right now!
(*cough* - I told you the horse was fucking shit, lmao!) XD

It didn't happen to mention anything about hiding under rocks and despising humanity in there, did it? 'cause that might be a slight redeeming quality.
The Horse is a worker, adepts at handling money and a good financier. But unfortunately, he is also famous for suddenly losing interest on something. In his relationship with opposite sex, the Horse is weak. He will give up everything for love...
He can make it in any career that demands neither solitude nor meditation, for he is an extrovert and he needs to be surrounded by people who approve of him and flatter him.
Due to their dislike of inactivity, Horses get involved in many sorts of works outside their chosen trade. Good with their hands and attracted to art, they are skillful craftsmen with a talent for innovation.
...I'm starting to see why you don't like horses now, LOL
... and hey, I'm so extroverted that the computer screen has utterly ravaged my vision, from 12+ hours of daily socialization for over a decade! :3
I'm also guessing that - seeing as how they're shitty horses, and that shitty horses like stomping beautiful, grassy meadows into mushy, squalid fields of muddy filth - they'd like to be "unrestrained" and "free." - I guess I can relate to that last part...
lol, at least your one sounds pretty spot on. XP
Ugh, I know. I sit at a computer practically all day and my eyes are starting to show it- it's worth it though. Not my fault 90 percent of my social life and being are online *blinks* not sure if that's just sad or funny.
Haha, seems like everyone else's zodiac is way off- had another friend that was a snake- yeah, complete opposite. So I don't know; I guess some people fulfill their "destiny" and others? are just...something else
Yeah, we should probably get around to that sometime, lol.
and don't worry, we're so cheap that I'm sure we'll be able to afford laser eye correction without so much as a hassle... It's just too bad that we'll be 9/10ths blind before we can justify parting with the money.
