Being taught to avoid talking about Politics and Religion has led to a lack of understanding of Politics and Religion. What we should have been taught was how to have a civil conversation about a difficult topic.
To my great surprise, I received a Gift today from a friend for the passage into old-man-hood.
A brand new in the box Crock Pot, a crock-pot cookbook, and two Patrick McManus novels, The Good Samaritan strikes again, and Whatchagot Stew. I think I will read the novels before I open the cookbook.
