Yeah I was having a wonderfully thought provoking discussion on a group post on Facebook. And I do mean that. It was wonderful, they were citing sources and I was bringing up alternative viewpoints. With an admin no less
.
Then I go back to it this morning and find that I've been:
Labeled a troll
Banned from the group
And had my half o the discussion deleted
My initial posts taken out of context and inserted into the groups photo gallery called the parade of shame.
Apparently there was another admin who dislikes any political discussion contrary to their groups position.
Even though I'm beside myself here with frustration and the feeling that I got squashed because...well lets just say that politically I feel like no one represents my interests and the first time I have someone listening and hashin things out with me. I get BANHAMMERED.
No warning or nothing. And this claimed to be an open minded group for people who are against propaganda.
But I think what really grinds my fears is the time and effort I put into typing pages and pages of text and organizing my thoughts on an iPhone. And it gets labeled trolling!!!!
Seriously if I was trolling....grrrrrr
I feel like the tiny speck shouting at the universe.
It was a liberal group, normally a group I think of as levelheaded thinkers who do t follow blindly. Sure proved me wrong on that one. Ironically in he screencap they posted included my point that hypocracy exists on both sides of the debate.
I still wish I could've maybe opened their eyes to it. That there's two or more sides to every story and both harbour seperate concerns and at equally as valid.
I'm sick of the attitude of you either agree with us or you hate us.
It isn't black and white like that.
Whatever. I have a rageheadache now.

It is sad this is the general trend.
I just...sometimes it concerns me where we're headed as a country. Politics aside, the way we react to things today is...scary. To me at least.

I'm fear this is more serious than I imagined. I haven't even figured out how to build my lightsaber yet! Or use the force. I'm so behind.
In my 30+ years of existence I rarely find real level headed thinker... normally those peoples have nothing to prove to themselves and/or to the others.
Pizza you've seem to have make some waves... the admin who blindly made the damage shown his level of education and how much respect he deserve.
Let it go and pass to something else.
