Having your wisdom teeth pulled out is a conspiracy dang it!
Yeah, I shouldn't even be online but dang it, I"m bored just sitting here "resting." I'm not allowed to come into work until next week- my boss's orders. She, along with my other supervisor, both nurses, insisted I get some rest and recover properly...that and they don't want to see my "bleeding gums" or swollen mouth full of gauze, blah. And my mom, who's staying with me a few days making sure I"m okay? Doesn't want me sitting at the computer too long *sighs* blah humbug. Funny thing is, other than irritated nasal sinuses? and that's from that dang nasal cannula they stuck up my nose for oxygen. I feel fine. I was walking around about an hour after I got home and the grogginess from the IV sedation wore off (yay for very, very strong drugs that knocked me out!) and a few hours later? err, well let's just say I've been texting some of my friends on my phone out of sheer boredom...sorry y'all but I needed the company and I'm not allowed to do any excessive talking right now
Anyway, the surgery was fairly quick: was at 7 this morning, lasted 45 minutes. Next thing I know? they were wheeling me to my dad's car and home to recuperate. No real pain (yet) though they gave me some strong pain meds to combat it if it starts to bother me and I'm on a strict "soft food" diet (read: all the ice cream a wolfcat can eat) for the next week
...oh dear, how terrible *curls up in a corner with a gallon of ice cream, chocolate pudding and frozen yogurt to nom on*
Anyway, hope everyone is doing better than I am. I just wanted to ramble a bit since I really can't sit at my pc long to play any games right now *grumbles* I know there's a conspiracy afoot but I just can't put my finger on it. Hell, even my pain meds that are supposed to induce sleep aren't working and they're -strong- too (rather not say the name on here for medical reasons)

Eh, screw it *pulls out devil may cry 3 and rages for the rest of the evening* Will probably delete this later when I finally fall asleep or my voice goes out from yelling at the game, whatever comes first

...and I get the rest of the week off of work! it's...like a mini vacation, which I sure can't complain about *chuckles*
Hopefully it remains painless - (and hopefully I never have to get mine removed! </3)
Oh well, at least I get some time off work to veg and relax a bit
