So...let me get this straight...

Because it's cold and raining down here, ALL the schools, colleges and most businesses are closed. Along with any and all bridges and overpasses due to the fact that people down here aren't used to this kinda of weather- and keep in mind it's only 30 degrees, with a low of 24ish? (...) Damn, southerners really are weak- I'd hate to see what would happen if it got REALLY cold around here-
...and yet I'm being forced to go to work instead of staying home all day gaming and being lazy *sulks* there's a conspiracy afoot dang it!!!
In other news, hi all you new watchers! Here, have some king cake while I console myself and trudge off to work this morning. I know, I know, I'm supposed to be watching my weight but...what's mardi gras without king cake huh? Laissez les bons temps rouler! (Translation: "let the good times roll" in cajun)
In other news, I have a crapload of commissioned art to upload- which I was going to do this morning *glares at my boss* But it's okay, most of them are SAD (single's awareness day) themed so I'll hold off on them a few more days I suppose.
Well let me keep this rant short, I need to get ready to head to work. I'll post a special SAD journal in a few days as well so don't fret you single furs and folks out there, there's hope for us too. Until then, have a good one y'all~

According to the weather channel, we'll be back in the 60s by this weekend *facepalms* only state I know where we can jump from 30 to 60 degrees in less than a week
The ambient temps last week didn't get above freezing and stayed sub-zero for a few days. Thursday was my day off and it was -15 out most of the day. People were still out in it.

well you get the picture. you should get your tail up here. It was in the hi 20's this morning and I was out working in it!. Then a snow storm pass through. And I'm a Cajun wolf.
Oh and if you don't want to "watch" your weight.....I'm sure there are a few around here (pick me pick me) that would "watch" it for you!
...but seriously, we need to meet up one day! We've been talking for on and off nearly 2 years now if I'm not mistaken (though we've never seen each others pictures but meh, I've gone longer without showing people how I look) So that needs to happen! And you know...I'd really like the weather up there, I'm like the only idiot down here in 20 degree weather taking pictures in the freezing rain because I like how the ice looks frozen on the trees, rooftops and bushes
*chuckles* no, no, I'm trying to lose weight! I have been for almost a year now. I'm down nearly 40 lbs now! But still have a ways to go until I feel good...and happy about how I look but I'm getting there~
