Sharpe's been out and about quite a bit lately. She pissed off a nightmare fuel bunny at the local Easter egg hunt with a two and a half day fullsuit bunny.
Let me say this. I'm not a fan of anything uncanine. Look through the favorites gallery. You may notice that theam, drawings, writings if any of you have stalked my deviantart. Which you totally should. Wolves. Canines.
Anyways even with my heavy prejudice towards the canine species.

Like you don't even know. You've seen the pics but its efricking...A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E.
The lady in the other rabbit.
She.was.pissed.
Anyways I'm sure sharpe mentioned something about it. But it was fun. And I heard about it secondhand.
Scarier thing? There are other cosplayers in this tiny stoplightless town.
This next part is an automotive rant. If the following stops making sense this is likely why.
Soooo I've been working on this 79 rx7. Got it running. Ect ect. Went to do plugs an wires on it. Pulled the trailing plug for rotor #1 and coolant came out. And continued to drip out.
For those of you unfamiliar with cars and/or rotary engines. This is bad.
Yeahhhhhh. I get to pull that motor, do a teardown and AT LEAST a soft seal replacement.
That project is on hold awaiting funding.
The good news is that the money I've been earning from this job has accelerated my savings for my trans am project. The bad news is the prices on parts has gone up since then and I'm having to completely re-figure things.
Ill be tearin into my donor SBC block to see if I really do have roller lifters. If I do have roller lifters I have to see of they're reusable. And of not I'm going flat tappet with a more extensive cam kit. (The one with springs and such)
Because the roller cam/lifters/valve springs/timing chain kit is some 700bucks.
As opposed to about 350$ for the equivelant kit with flat tappets.
And don't even get me started on the head work. I thought there were some local shops who could port heads, but no. That shop only does prototype work for the proving grounds now.
So its vortec or used ported or nothing. And vortec means I have to factor in an additional 300$ for an intake that works with those heads.
The carb is now about a hundred bucks more than I think it was last year. Some 400$odd for a 650cfm carb?
I think its mostly because everyone's going to EFI.
This budget build is getting mission creep.
All I really need is the cam kit and carb and about a 150 in regulators and piping.
And maybe headers. And the ypipe. And muffler. That's about 450total.
I just want to go so much farther while I have the engine out. While its easy to work on.
I want to say "YES!"
But my wallet says
"Aw heell no!"
