SO you know that horribly awful movie we worked on last august...its out on DVD and you can get your copy...somewhere on the internet.

oh how cute...he paid to have a website done instead of getting a contract with amazon...instead of paying the monster budget.
i dont know if i'd pay 20 bucks for it...but hey...whatever.
TO BE COMPLETELY HONEST...it...wasntasbadasithoutitwoudbe...
ok ok...compaired to the first one it was brilliant...if you havent seen the first one...dont really bother...its a 90 minute movie that should.ve been 47 minutes...if that.. we upgraded to actual Foley effects in this movie...and it actually moves along, plot holes notwithstanding. it'd be worth a watch.
the mosters turned out pretty poorly...we needed more munies to make them right...
and..we see them in direct...broad...full fledged...non nightfiltered...daylight...yup...full multimilliondollar monster movies wont do this with their monsters...and its for a reason.
its worth a watch once...not exactly a classic...but its better than ms3k fodder.
btw...its mothersday this weekend...get something for your mom...draw a card...if you dont have a mom...dont worry, you're off the hook.

so...that guy who smashed his thumb came back to work. and we've been getting along quite well for awhile...annnd he got another job paying much better and quit...his brother got fired again...permanently this time. another no-call no-show...then he found out that he couldnt collect unemployment because it wasnt the boss's fault. HAHA! sad really...tears in my eyes...
so we've got two more green kids at work now...one came from another store and really isnt green. the other kid...heee tried to put a lugnut on backwards his first day. granted it was his first day and he's doing better, but still.
also i'm the oldest tire tech at the place...im 26...annd the youngest kid is 19....born in 95...i think i was 7...
wheres my cane..i think my hip just popped...young whippersnappers better keep off my lawn.
well the charge port is going out on this laptop of mine, it only charges in very specific positions...my motor build is getting a healthy dose of mission creep, im just about to drop 100-500 to have them looked over and more expensive if they need valve seats. blah blah blah money money moneh...im running out of it for the build.
annd the heads i picked up arent drilled/tapped for accessories...which is bad. it means "alternative bracketry is in order...sooo another 250 for that...goodnews is...i dont need them immediately so i can try to put away more in anticipation for later.
i dont think i can afford headers at that rate...at the same time...i want headers and i want these heads...so that means time is going to be sacrificed.
quick, cheap, good...pick two...im going good...and i have to go cheap so its going to take a LOONG time
SO...its peanutbutter sandwiches and ramen for me...i'll keep getting good food for sharpe because she needs it.
BUT i'm much farther along than i used to be. well...not really but it feels like it.
aside from all this how is everyone...im barely on the internet and when i am i'm up to my eyeballs in holley carb tuning write ups and compression ratio calculations. oh and apparently insulting hypersensitive transgenderd persons on facebook...yeah..i have a pronoun problem...and im a guy...so the gender neutral is male...which can be a problem for some people apparently.
ANYWAYS I feel like i've been missing out with all you guys.

but i think this was by far the worst
a while back one fo theme didn't listen (okay now i dont knwo the correct terms for this next bit)
my other half told him (the new guy who was menu to already ahve a training and gone to school for all of this basic stuff) to put up this big ass 4x4 (i think it was a land-rover) on these 4 jack things.
he asks if he did it as the new guys heading out for a cig. new guy says yes. my toher half goes under the car and it FALLS ON HIM. his back is pretty messed up and if it hadn't of been just a high car he's of died.
him and the whole shop grabbed this guy, got the forklift and put a poll through the arms of hsi shirt and attached him to the lifted forklift and left him there.
the crucified him and he was strapped up there for god knows how long.
er...how horrible...
usually jeep wranglers are a...pain... to lift...short wheelbase...
yeah this kid, mind you he was pretty good at what he did...but he just didnt care. and the boss got tired of dealing with it. there was more to it.. a billion smoke breaks a day...had his car impounded...lost his drivers license due to outstanding unpaid tickets...fun stuff. he was kindof a scumbag, has a kid going into kindergarten...and he liked to spend his time doing mushrooms and pot...hooking up with his kid's "psycho" mom and his girlfriend...it was...interesting
