So apparently I’m the devil *puts on my best surprised face*
Earlier today, me and one of my coworkers went to the cafeteria to see what they had for lunch. Now I already packed a lunch: salad, chicken and a baked potato, but I usually go to the cafeteria anyway just to see what they have. You guys ever packed a lunch only to realize, “Meh, I don’t really want that but I’ll eat it if I have to?” Yeah…I have days like that sometimes, hence why I like to check what the cafeteria has every day. So we get there and I saw “IT”: chocolate cheesecake! And it was the last slice for only $1.50!? But since I’m watching my weight, I had to ask myself- “How bad do I want that cheesecake?” and “How long would it take to burn off all the calories in it?”

Screw it, I wanted chocolate cheesecake dang it! So I asked my coworker, who’s also trying to lose weight and following a carb-free diet, would she like to split it with me so we could both have a treat without going overboard. Yeah, she called me the devil for being “an enabler of fat and sweet goodness.” *throws on a pair of pointy horns and just eats the cheesecake for myself* More for me then! LOL. It’s a known fact if you completely deprive yourself of sweets and cravings when you’re trying to lose weight, then guess what? You’re probably going to either overeat or break your diet. Yes, I’m still trying to lose weight but I still have my ice cream and a take-out burger almost every Friday night. Why? I work out 3-5 days a week and watch my fat intake relatively well so even if I do overdo it one day, my metabolism will burn it off if I stay active enough (that and I'll be damned if I give up my favorite foods completely, hmph).
So…hi! Everyone still alive for the most part? I’ve had a few people poke me via shouts and notes asking me how I’m doing since I’ve been so quiet lately. I’m fine, just busy with work, gaming and staying out of trouble. I’ve even been cutting back on commissions- mostly to save up for some epic pictures in the months to come. So for those of you that are just watching me for art/commissions alone? Be patient; good things come to those that wait.
In other news, I have set a new personal goal for myself: I’d like to lose 50 lbs by my birthday! Doable? Damn right it is! I’m already down roughly 39.5, 40lbs and a hell of a lot of inches. And my birthday is less than 20 days away. Now I just need to buckle down and get serious! Wait, did I really just eat a chocolate cheesecake and I need to lose about 10 pounds in 2 weeks? Really?!
…meh, it was worth it.
Anyway, later folks. Time to go run up and down seven flights of stairs so I can burn this pudge off.
*pulls a Goku and goes to go train in a hyperbolic time chamber for the next two weeks so I can come out looking epic and badass*

Moderation is allegedly the key. ^.^
...moderation is easy! Once you remind yourself the reason why you're losing weight or working towards that goal
Hah X3 I bet they are just jelly cause you are able to give your self a treat but they can't cause they haven't done as well with there diet =P
