WHAT IS ZELDA!?
Jesus Christ I thought this was staged... I really did, I couldn't even believe it, I refused to.
Now I feel bad .__. But I also feel good, some of those kids had the right idea at the end.
I still don't know how they didn't know what Zelda was, they're still making Zelda games for fucks sake. Do kids not even play video games at all anymore!? Also, why can't Metroid crawl?
Guess I'm a new tier hipster according to that random teenager .__.

I only turned 19 in the summer and I knew EVERYTHING they were talking about- plus I've owned my own for about 4 years now.
My generation upsets me- AND WHAT IS ZELDA. ;^; like the best thing ever.
KIDS THESE DAYS UGH
"Who?..." ;_;
Then the SNES and Genesis came out and all hell broke loose.
Getting off topic now. >.=.>
I feel a old now.
I literally have an NES set up in my living room right now.
I grew up with my old Amiga 500 and Sega 8-bit. And the latter had Alex Kid built into the system!
Should grab an old Atari 2600, park a kiddo in front of it and put in something like Adventure. ( F*ck that GD thieving bat btw ) Film the reaction. :D
Get off my lawn ! ! lol
But in response to your pic, that IS such a pretty system. I've never owned one, I'd love to buy one-I have all the other consoles in great working condition, though. haha
Been playin' the good ol' SNES this past week.
And despite their overall ignorance of the system, they still mostly embraced it and wanted to play the games when offered the chance, with a couple of them really enjoying themselves!
I was also impressed about their ability to immediately recognize the spoiled nature/hand-holding attitude a lot of people have regarding games and systems nowadays.
So I dunno... if anything this video sort of makes me feel a bit old, but I was expecting a LOT worse when I saw the title XD
Yup, and that's how you can tell who genuinely loves playing games; the ones who were able to see the appeal, regardless of how old it was, were pretty cool.
But I still don't know how someone couldn't know what Zelda is. That's like not knowing what Ninja Turtles are, even though that movie is out right now. =I
Those kids give me faith in the new generation <3
I just moved out with my bf, who has all the new systems, but I still find myself playing the SNES and N64
Even though the graphics got better and the games got bigger, nothing quite compares to the challenge of an old school side-scroller. It's nice that they all kept to the tradition of almost all Mario games: the first goomba of the first level kicks your ass every time.
These are the memories that define us.
My n64 and ps2 i've long since given away, but I still have that NES and I doubt I'll ever part with it.
These black kids, I swear.
I feel old now. XD
Also, they sell replacement connectors for the inside of the NES now that are gold plated that don't have the connection issues as the original hardware. So no more blinking screen, blowing on the cartridge, etc
Dont blow the cartrage! Its not a Fox!
I have a working SNES and a lot of games (Including two Super Gameboy cartridges), though I haven't managed to obtain any Zelda games for it.
Also have a semi-working (I've been meaning to fix a loose battery connection that makes it cut out rather frequently), grey-brick GameBoy.
Wish I could get an N64 with Ocarina of Time, that was my introduction to the Zeldaverse.
20 years from now I bet you will have one hell of a time finding a working PS4 or Xbox 1, but a working NES? They'll all probably still work XD
I'm impressed they abstained from uttering "hashtag" or "yolo" at any time throughout the video; more impressed still they extoled the console's history, it's status hitherto, and what it meant to people back then, despite it being "crazy" to think it was ever at any time the pinnacle of gaming.
NES is so awesome, never had it but I play some games on an emulator
Also, the entire react series ruined fine bros., give a google/bing search for their old "Dogfucker" series...and notice how it's gone. I've never seen something so completely wiped off the internet before. They used to be funny, and then just found this cash cow and are milking it dry.

R.I.P. NES. NEVAR FORGET.
