I've given up on Livestream. It as SO many errors and is so high maintenance. Have you tried Picarto? I've used that website with success.

I've had the same problem with Livestream, and ended up migrating to Picarto instead. Their streaming program, OBS is much easier on the computer and doesn't take too many assets like Livestream's Procaster does.

OBS can be used on just about any streaming site. It's a bit more difficult to configure for Livestream, but it can be set up to do very complex arrangements of videos, pictures, text, and so forth.

Livestream limits the bandwidth of 3rd party broadcasting programs to 500 kbps, which I've discovered works fine for art at a decent resolution, since it doesn't move much, but not much good for movies or video.

I'd try out Furstream. Picarto is more polished, but Furstream is a smaller community, and since it's all furry work, you're more likely to be found by people interested in what you're doing. It does have its issues now and then, though, so I usually keep livestream as a backup.

I'd be happy to walk you through all the setup. It's not too complex, but it's good to know what sort of settings work best, since unlike livestream's software, there's some configuration required to get a good stream. The good news is that once it's done, all you have to do to start streaming again in the future is click a single button.

you can do this in tinychat. It's a bit complicated, but you have to use both chrome and IE or Firefox, and you also have to use ManyCam.
I open IE and start a stream like normal, then open your movie stream like netflix, then open ManyCam and set the input screen as your movie stream tab. Now open tinychat in Chrome, start another stream and pick ManyCam. You will have to mute the chrome's tinychat session or else you'll get bad feedback.

I cannot for the life of me figure out how new livestream works, nor do I want to, bc the whole event thing is silly and the setup is garbage in my opinion. It took me a while to figure out, but you can still use an older version of livestream--this: http://www.livestream.com/guide/livetv which in my experience runs way smoother anyways and you also don't have to deal with all the stupid events. Download Procaster http://www.livestream.com/userguide.....caster#Windows (at the bottom they have it for Mac and PC)

It looks the same as Producer, but unlike Producer, I could actually get Procaster to run. :| I'm not sure if you can do split screen streaming unless if you have a second monitor, because that's really the only option I see for it (under Settings > Desktop > Start capture second monitor)

You have to go pro to allow more than 50 people into your stream though, or at least I think you do it's been a while since I checked xD and sometimes the audio isn't THE BEST but for the most part I really like using it, so hopefully that helps? @___@
