So been back for a few days and though I really need to write up something because I usually don't. My last journal is 8 months ago!!! BLFC is without a doubt one of the best cons I have ever attended. The theme was more than just a fancy poster they put up or a cleaver naming convention for panels. They brought the theme to life and I was absolutely floored at how in depth they went with it. I can say I started as a good citizen, at least long enough to get a collar and promptly have it defaced to say "Resist. Disobey." Thanks for your Sharpie skills Karma! The dealer den had messages broadcasted every so often with random messages about how you can be a good and loyal citizen to this utopian society and not to follow the path of the resistance. It made the whole con feel very involved. Not to mention the dealers got to be involved with it as well. Speaking of which, the dealers den was HUGE!!! They were all situated around the outside of the room and the middle had a large area for suiters to run around and play games in. This was the biggest space but there was still another area for the artist alley/marketplace plus the main stage. I never once felt there wasn't enough room on the con level. There were plenty of places to eat in the area as well. We only once left the property to go for a supply run at Walmart next door.

If I missed you at the con then there's always next year! We are 100% going back because we are cool like that. Especially with the room rates with what they were! Crazy good price and I had no complaints about the room at all. I'm so hyped about next year!
