graciously accepted via Paypal! Kryistina @ Yahoo My mother bought a house, this much you all already know from a previous journal. What you might not know is that said house'd mandatory remodeling has taken up all of my time for the last several months, and this is the first time that I have been able to open my computer in quite a while.
To those of you who want to commission me, or to whom I owe art, I truly appreciate your patience. I will be able to create beauty for you again just as soon as I am able to get this house finished, get my mother moved in, finish prepping the ground for and planting the landscaping and garden plants that I already have (that are actively wilting as I type), and finish refurbishing the back workshop in the garage into my own little house. This is a much bigger and complicated project than I was originally expecting it to be. I really wish I had the time to art, but at the moment, pretty much all that I have the time for is working, sleeping, and eating, and not even much of the last two either. I will return as soon as I am able, I promise.

Wish you best of luck with getting everything set up and moved in. Hopefully the rest from here goes smoothly.

It's not going smoothly at all, but keep up those well-wishes, hopefully the tides will change... As soon as the front yard stops being a tidal pool. (flooding is really bad right now, everywhere in my town)

Glad to hear it's going well!

Remodeling a house into a home always takes more time than anticipated. Good luck!

It wouldn't bother me so much if the crazy woman I'm working for hadn't expected to move into the place two weeks after she bought it, with it needing all new flooring, new paint, plus plumbing and electrical work. My mother is kind of getting to the senile dementia stage a bit early, you could say. But by golly, if I have anything to say about it, she will be content, if not downright pleased with the house once I'm finished. :D All this work, I am doing just for her. <3

You're awesome for doing that!

Hope it goes faster than expected, but we both know it will take longer XD so don't wear yourself out too much

Trying to remember to rest from time to time, but with how slow it's going, every moment that I rest, I feel guilty for wasting time I could be working and getting the house closer to done, ya know? Kind of a catch-22, as it were.
