So, finally got started on remodeling my kitchen. Had a few things done like removing the upper cabinets and removing the sink. Haven't quite got the bottom ones yet. After I get those torn out, I'm going to call a friend of a friend for an estimate on putting in the tile I bought. That's going to be a diamond pattern checker board in the in. It'll look great! Then, once I have a nice, solid, and LEVEL foundation, i can start putting together my new cabinets. Get one wall taken out partially and make a bartop that opens into the living room. Get the upper cabinets built, mounted. Get the lower cabinets built, pay someone to mount those and make sure they're super duper level for the granite countertops. Have a gas line run for the new stove top. Then mount the exhaust in the ceiling and get rid of the old one that's been there since the 60s. So caked with grease and the like that it started dripping. That's kinda nasty. It'll take maybe a month or so to get it all done right, but it'll be worth it!

As for the cruise part, I 'won' a cruise. The whole shebang where the phone call comes in saying I won, then you talk to someone who tells you that you haven't won yet or blah blah blah. Either way, I'm going to go deal with that and come back with my $1,200 dollar voucher for my danged free cruise. It'll be pretty damn easy considering I've got not money to spend after starting all this renovating. I suppose the worst that could happen is I magically get suckered into buying something, but when you have no money, it's pretty easy to tell 'em to piss off! Hopefully things work out and I'll get myself a cruise somewhere. Bwahahaha
