Well, it's been a while, but ah finally got a good amount of work goin' on my house. I have the kitchen gutted entirely now. Old cabinets torn out, old linoleum ripped up, and finally the old and worn subfloor taken out. I also got my living room, hallway, and dining area painted too! It looks sooooo much better than the off yellow goldenrod kind of colour. The people who lived there before touched up some spots too with an orange-yellow too. Just didn't sit right with me.

Later today I have a contractor coming over to give me an estimate to lay tile for me and redo the subfloor and all. All the materials are bought, so that expense is taken care of. After the tile is done, time to build up the cabinets, and take down a wall! The next project after that is to run speaker wires and some electric wiring in the living room. As it stands, I want to mount speakers on the walls or in the ceiling. I also want to add recessed lighting as there are absolutely no lights in that area, which it kinda needs.

So many projects! So little time and money.
