House Update & Weight Loss
Been a while since I've posted anything here, so I figured to update a couple of things.
First off, my house projects have come along and most of them are finished. I've got my bedroom painted a nice glossy black with white ceiling trim. It's a lot brighter than you'd think a black bedroom would be, but with a couple windows and a big arsed closet mirrored door, it's one of the brighter rooms in the house. The entry way to the house is a nice eggshell white, better than the bright yellow that was there. The living room/dining room and hallway have been redone in a very light seafoam green (Though it's called herbal mist) and it makes things look quite nice. The kitchen itself has been finished with new electric having been run and a new gas line for the stovetop. Can't complain. It looks nice. I had the wall between the kitchen and living room punched out and installed a bartop so people can eat around the kitchen, or the table and still be able to watch TV or visit. The color of the kitchen is a lovely wine red and it compares nicely with the color out in the living room. So, all in all, the upstairs of my house is peachy. I need to refinish the basement next, and that's about the last major project to be done to bring things to my satisfaction
Out in the garage I put in new light fixtures and outlets just because it was quite dark and built myself a nice giant work bench out there too! Things are really coming together.
Next in my life has been weight loss. Unfortunately I did not stick with going to the gym. Once Kel left, it became boring to go alone so I stopped doing that. But I've been keeping up on my keto diet since October of 2016 and have dropped about 55 pounds so far. I was at 265 and am down to 210.5. So that's nice. I hope to get under 200 soon, and then the next target is 180. It's taking time, but I'll get there. In the long term, I tried this diet back a couple year ago where I was at 285 at my heaviest, so you could say I dropped 75 in the long run! Hehe. Just hope I've got the discipline to maintain my weight once I've got it all off this time.
