Well, been onna pretty big trip with mah dad on a tour of some of Germany for Oktoberfest. I'm seven...ish days in and having a great time. FOr most of the trip we've hung with the tour and have had a blast. We landed in Munich, then rode a bus to Fussen. From there we went to two different viehscheids which is something where the farmers bring the cows down from the mountain. It's a fun celebration and the like. It's kind of a small little oktoberfest by comparison. We've seen a few castles and one palace so far. It's a lot of walking and I love it. We've averaged about 15 miles a day so far. After Fussen, we're at Munich for three days for the festival and sightseering around there, and tomorrow morning we depart for Stuttgart. Have seen the two castles near Fussen and the Versailles-like palace about an hour from Munich. I can't wait to see what's there, though I'm also a little homesick and starting to get a bit more tired day to day from all the walking. I've been behaving though. Haven't been kicked out of the country so far! ^.^
