Geez, I never thought this day would come: 10,000 page views, thanks everyone! I really should have held a kirban for whoever caught the 10,000th page view first but meh, maybe I’ll try that for 20,000 page views. However, I think my friend justicekyo was number 9999 since he was the last person to leave a shout on my page- kudos buddy!
…and I just realized, it took me 5 years to get this many views. Meaning I average about 2,000 page views a year or roughly 166 views a month-
Not bad for a casual, clean watcher and commissioner that mostly keeps to herself. I want to thank my active watchers that fav, comment, or just enjoy the commissions I get of my girls, particularly Whisper. Honestly, I am REALLY surprised I got this many page views, especially considering I have no smut, porn, or cliché pinups in my gallery…not that there’s anything wrong with that type of art. If you like art of your characters that way? Cool. I just do not like that type of art of my characters because I look at them as a reflection of myself. As a matter of fact, as I’ve lost weight in real life, I had Whisper and Amelia’s body types altered to appear similar to mine...however, sometimes artists draw them better than I look and it makes me want to work out harder, LOL. But anyway-
Over the years, I have had a few people somewhat amazed at my lack of mature and adult art in my gallery yet I am a…furry! Shocking I know but believe it or not, some furries do enjoy clean, non-yiffy art and have little to no drama in their lives. No really, such furries DO exist; you just don’t hear much about such beings since we keep to ourselves and like to avoid drama, lol.
So what’s next for me and Whisper? Well my birthday is coming up in a few weeksgeez, I’m getting so old, so expect some form of birthday art of my girl as a little gift to myself and you awesome watchers. Otherwise, all is quiet and boring on my end. Nowadays, my routine is pretty boring. My schedule is mostly: wake up, exercise, eat, work, eat, sleep, repeat. Seriously, if you chat with some of my friends, I am usually in bed each night around 7-9pm and up again around 4-6am working out like a fanatic!
…yeah I know, I really don’t have a life; don’t judge me *laughs* Anyway, hope everyone is doing well. Have a good one~

5 years is roughly as long as it took me to get to 10K also, except I draw a little... no porn and not many girls though hahahaha.

I personally do not have anything against mature art, it just doesn't suit me *shrugs* Though I've seen others that their characters pull it off quite well
...also Higgyy makes some of the best sketches on here! I need to get art from them again sometime. That piece you got is really cute yet awesome

All I ask is that the piece be sfw (however if it's gory or blood involved, mature is fine), both of us agree on the artist, a price range, and a theme (I totally need to make a journal addressing collabs since a few people have asked me about that; thanks for reminding me!)

It just irks me the price of xbox goes down each year, yet Sony refuses to lower their consoles to a reasonable price! Hell 199 dollars for a ps4 is reasonable now. But 299? Meh, better but I swear by the time I get one, they'll be coming out with a ps5!

I've got a fair bit less than 4K total, and that's over almost nine years. However, I really don't commission artwork and I stay away from adult stuff; as you know I don't like spreading my private life out there for all to see. :P
Considering I'm primarily a writer and FA's not really geared towards writing anyway, I tend to have much better view counts on other venues anyway. :P

And there is nothing wrong with keeping your personal life separate with the internet; same here! Seriously, outside my occasional journals where I vaguely describe real life events? I keep any other aspects of my life separate from this place: like you, I rather not have my job, or anyone in real life knowing about my association with the furry fandom if I can help it.
Yeah, it kinda bothers me how writers get NO attention on here compared to other sites. There are some damn good poets and writers...even musicians on here, but they get ignored over the bombarded of art that's posted on fa.

As far as it goes, I tend to keep my deeply personal stuff very much away from the fandom. Primarily because drama llamas love that kind of ammunition, and the list of people I trust with some of this stuff is very short. That and like you I'm not a very open fur. I don't feel the need to be, right?
I hate to have this kind of opinion on this site, but if it's not erotic art or fursuits most people don't really care about it. I've got a decent following elsewhere so I can't give two hoots about it, but someone who wants to break into that kind of thing in this site has an uphill battle.
And I'm pretty sure you're still younger than me, so there's that at least? :P

I'm just glad other people noticed that trend as well. Photographers (unless it's of fursuits and cons, ugh), writers, and musicians really don't stand out here. Mind you, there are a few exceptions to that but the fact remains, it's better to just find another site to post such things if you want to be noticed. Honestly, I am thinking of moving to another site myself- at least for journals! There are things I would love to rant and go off about but I know they wouldn't be appreciated on a site like fa. I may have to put my livejournal account to use again!
And, yes... while I receive nil attention here, I think I'm hovering around the 30-40K view mark on Fanfiction.net(and 200+ reviews which is the surprising bit) and I've had my stuff featured on SoFurry twice. So I must be doing something right... just not around here!
