Nate, hun. Believe me, I know this heat is unbearable. I've got fursuit commissions to work on and it's too hot for that. I really hope your commissioners understand that you need a break. On top of this heat, and being in a place where we HAVE to use that stupid 'smart hours' crap, I've been sick with some sort of cold.....I can honestly relate to the level of frustration you're probably feeling. I might have to close commissions for the summer...

Wouldn't it be better to take a break? Depends on your economic situation, of course, so if you can afford it I'd say go for it. If not, I'd strongly recommend you go see a doctor at least, in the unlikely case you didn't already as I'm sure they'll have better advice to give than some random furry on the internet.
I don't wanna be a downer but let's be real: if you keep pushing your body beyond its limits you run the risk of letting your problem grow even bigger than it may already be, and with it might come greater costs in money, time and health. You're a grownup so you already know all this. Personally I'm just throwing in my two cents, that's all, I don't wanna sound patronizing or some shit like that
You're a very good artist and it'd be a shame if you had to stay out of the game for a prolonged period of time. I think taking a break now will minimize that time. Hopefully your economic situation will allow it. As for your commissioners, I'm sure they'll understand. Good luck stranger
