One last call for help
So rent is due in two days and my electric bill is overdue by a month. I have $80 to my name and need $230 to keep the lights on. Rent...yeah I'm not going to be able to do anything about that right now so I'm just going to let the landlord know that I'll get it to it asap.
The only reason I'm asking for help now is because I have a bunch of work to finish before opening for more sales and I'm fairly certain I won't have time to make the funds needed in time. As of next month I'll be moving out of here so my cost of living is going to go down considerably.
This would essentially be a last push to get me out of this hole and back on the path to stability.
If you can help at all please consider sending a donation to my paypal - silverdragonruin[at]yahoo.com

Would 50 USD donation help for now and, maybe a commission after you have your latest work load sorted be ok?
If you've got more demand than you can handle, people may not mind the extra wait, and you could also make it a little more worth it for them by throwing in something extra on top of what you'd normally offer in return for purchasing at this time.
For instance:
• Offer 2 slots for $150, 3 for $100, or 6 for $50
• You offer whatever you would normally do for that amount of money
• 3 week delayed start on the work
• In return, anyone who purchases one of these offers gets a free colored sketch (to be started once these 2-6 commissions are done)
It lets you pull in the money by doing what you're already doing, and gives people a little incentive for the extra wait.
Besides, it's not uncommon in the professional world to book your calendar 2-3 months out when you're in high demand. This is something in-between that, and while you are, in a sense, asking your clients to take on all the risk (due to the wait time and the upfront full amount), you're also offering something in return to make it worth it for them.
