I've been reading Sabrina-Online pretty steady over the last 8 years or so, I remember when I first found it, had a looooot of catching-up to do at the time. It's been a fantastic comic! And the monthly strips will be sorely missed. But every good story must come to an end. But a bit of solace to know that there are more stories to come and I look forward to them!

One of the first of many webcomics I began reading when I was first introduced to the medium, years ago. I expected it to eventually come to a close, but it still feels like it all went by so fast. Lord almighty.

It was a wonderful ride, and a wonderful surprise every month to see the next batch of comics, so thank you for all the hard work you've done, and I look forward to what comes up in the future. Godspeed!

Wow, end of an era. I've been a regular reader since '98. This comic is one of the first things I got into after finding the fandom. It'll be missed, even with the occasional stories and comics that are to come in the future.

That said, thanks for finding a reasonable end point and building up to it rather than just spinning your wheels for as long as the fandom will let you. Few things are more disappointing when a comic overstays its welcome and the creator screws it up rather than giving it a decent ending and moving on.

Thanks for the twenty years of a quality comic, you deserve all the salutes and high-fives coming your way.

So sorry that it's over, although I understand your desires. Sabrina-Online was the reason I started writing a fully anthro story. I'm still hoping that you'll allow me to use Sheila and Sabrina in my story, although, if you so desire, I can create new characters in their stead.

Like others that have made this comment, I would love to see the story resume a few years in the future with Sabrina and R.C. with their own family. I'm sure that Tabitha would love having a niece or nephew close to her age. I'd also love to see what kind of relationship would eventually evolve between her and Timothy. (I knew before the flash forward arc, that Tabitha had a thing for him. LOL.)

I look forward to the future updates to Sabrina's story.

You know I was kind a saddened by the news when I read it, if only cause during college this strip sorta helped me through the months. It was sort of a mark up of how long I would have and it was also one of the first things I stumbled upon when I first quote-unquote "became a furry" and it kinda helped me with my insecurities with that to. But all things must come to a end I suppose. Congrats for all your hard work Eric/Mr.Schwartz and thank you for your time and energy, from a fan of yours for 13 years. I can't wait to buy the hardcovers from this and hopefully a full 20th anniversary print.

Believe it or not, I had a feeling the whole marriage storyline meant the end of the main comic. Heck, we were even teased about the future of Sabrina and Richard.

Eric, your art and animations were among the first furry things I found online in the mid-90s. I've read Sabrina Online religiously since it first appeared. I was never more than a month behind at any given point. There was never any catch-up binging like with other comics.

With apologies to Bill Holbrook, I eventually stopped reading Kevin and Kell.

I eventually stopped reading Dilbert every day, only reading the sporadic strip now and then.

I have several YEARS of catching up to do on Freefall.

But wow, Sabrina Online was one I never stopped reading.

Thanks for such a wonderful story and great characters; it was a wonderful ride, for pretty much my entire time in the furry fandom so far. Maybe I'll catch up on some of those other comics now. :)

20 years. For me only 16 years have passed since I found it (by pure chance) and followed it from there, after catching up with it of course. I'm glad we'll get to see them from time to time.

While I'm sad to see the monthly updates stop, I'm glad it lasted as long as it did.

I think I mentioned this before, but Sabrina Online was one of the very first "furry" sites I came across when I started using the internet in the late 90s. Heck, I always say that it was my starting point to becoming a furry, myself.

I actually drew fan art years ago, but I'm too ashamed of the quality to post it now. I'll just have to remake it to be better than before.

I've been a very huge fan of Sabrina online since the earliest days of the furry fandom <3. You've always brought great stories, characters and comics over the years. I look forward too what you bring up next time around for the story. Please never stop rocking with Sabrina and her family and friends in your work <3 <3 <3.

I feel bad for discovering SO only two-three weeks ago. It was a beautiful ride but it feels like when you as kid meet a friend just the night before he and his family move out of the city.

I've been followin this comic since the early 2000s, back when I just exiting middle school and going into high school so this comic's final chapter close does tug quite a bit on the heart strings. While this is bittersweet to me, I'm really glad that this comic has ended on a good note. I've seen a lot of other comics with far worse endings and you sir did it right. =3 Very well done, Eric W. Schwartz! Exceptionally well done!

this is one of the first web comics i started reading when i first started going on line so long ago .. i will miss it , but congratulations on a good long run and best of luck to you on what ever you do in the future .

Twenty years of monthly updates is quite an achievement, even with just three strips a month. It's a long story to tell and few have the endurance to carry through for so very long. I look forward to whatever occasional updates there are in the future.

Sorry to see it end, but things tend to be better when they have a definitive end goal.

I doubt you'll actually get to see this post, but I'm putting it down anyway.

Many years ago, when I was around fifteen I was going through a terribly bad spot in life. I was losing everything and I felt so very depressed that I often would just sit in bed and just let the day go by because I just couldn't feel much emotion after all of the bad things that had happened. I came across Sabrina Online by complete accident, and I fell in love with the characters, their personalities, and how much life you put into each of them. They had real struggles and they still moved on, struggled and made something of their lives despite all of it. I actually read the entire existing comic in one night, probably shouldn't have because my eyes killed me and I was a zombie in school for the next couple days, but in that one day my entire outlook and perspective on life was changed, and I never got to thank you for it.

I know it may seem really silly, because it was just a comic, nothing actually real, but it felt more real to me at that time than even my actual life. After I read it I had always wanted to thank you and tell you how you showed me that in there is always, always something to look forward to. That got me off of my ass and out in the world, where I met the greatest people of my life and even my future husband.

I'll cut this here because I don't want it to come off any creepier than this message might sound, but I wanted to say it, and needed to, because it really meant a lot to me.

Man.. 20 years... it's been one hell of a ride.

I didn't know about the comic right away. I can't even remember when I did discover it... somewhere in the first couple years, I'm pretty sure. When I did, however, I spent a few hours catching up. Ever since then, though, I kept coming back every month to see the new updates. But wow... it's kind of crazy to think that it's done... well... done in the way it has been going. Great way to end it, though.

Still, I will certainly be keeping an eye out for future comics and projects with Sabrina and company...

Thanks for all the work you've made around Sabrina Online. I seriously wish it wasn't over... Even if its only over for monthly updates. Yet in the end I can accept this ending because of all that was built up for the big finale. Its certainly has been a journey from the first time I set my eyes on this comic from when I was first using Wikipedia to look up fictional skunks and found Sabrina and all that would come from it.

For the future that comes next of these characters I'll be glad to read anytime. Even if it contrasts or changes what we've seen of the final strip or the whole big flash forward we had months back. Life does have a way of not going to how we imagined it. Whatever route you take the characters it will be worth the ride as it has now. Whether it be in comics or animation which would be fantastic to behold. Also would be interesting to see origin or background comics set around how the Furafterdark cast eventually came to be or in their off hours. Always potential in them since Zigzag's opening up on her backstory was a great moment to witness as part of the therapy comics. Even a new face to focus on would be fun to read from you.

In the end best of wishes and sincerest thanks for all the great years you've given. I hope to be as accomplished as you for the stories inspired by your works.

I'd already gotten soundly lodged into furry well before your strip started--so you don't get credit for turning me--but the strip's been a comfortingly constant backdrop for most of my time in this weird mess. Still, better to wrap things up before things go stale, unlike some other series which could be mentioned. It's nice that Amy, and now Sabby, have settled down. It just leaves me with one burning question: Is, um..is Tammy seeing anyone these days? (No disrespect to Tor.)

Sabrina-Online was one of my first online webcomics and it's something I've always anticipated at the start of every month. I'll miss it, but i'll look forward to any specials you come up with. It was great to be along on this ride. Heck, I remember the storyline I first found too, it was very fittingly when RC and Sabrina first met in person (only to have Amy suddenly go into labor).

Hell of a ride, Sabrina Online has been a major part of my online 'life' since I got onto the internet. I can't remember exactly WHEN I got into it, either 2001/2002ish or certainly 2003 after I moved to Florida as my memory of reading the comic is strongest around and after 2003.

Damn man 20 years, what a ride indeed. You achieved something few do, or at least with as much panache as you have come off. Whenever more stories of Sabrina, R.C. and company pop up I will look forward to them! Thank you good sir for giving us something fun to enjoy for the last two decades.

It's been a long and exciting road. Since I first stumbled over the wide Web 10 years ago and found a comic. A comic about a skunk with tech problems who meets a raccoon and works for a porn studio. Laughter, tears, excitement and despair, I've followed the story of these characters every month. I can't say I didn't shed a tear, but I'm not sad that it's ended... I'm happy because it happened. I am genuinely curious on what's gonna happen to the Sabrina online website. Will it be going through some drastic changes, or will a new website be made as Sabrina-online.com is remained as is?

, I have officially outlived one of my comics that didn't die of unnatural causes.....oh well. Hey, I hope you still stick around and such. I also hope that maybe you do continue with animation. I feel like that field of the furry world has been seriously neglected with nothing more than an occasional gif from time to time.
That and I would like to commission you sometime down the road. :P

Sabrina Online was literally one of the first websites I remember visiting back when it started, and I'm happy to have been a fan and reader this whole time. Hell of a ride, and while it's sad to see it finished, I'm happy to know it reached an end and didn't just disappear into the aether like so many other webcomics. Thanks for giving this wonderful story to us, and I myself can't wait to see what else you do in the future!

I have been reading this web comic since I was in High School.
And it has been an amazing 11 years reading this awesome series.

It was a hell of a ride to read Sabrina Online, Eric. I have to admit, it was one of the few things that kept me sane during my hardest times in the last few years. Seeing it go is bitter sweet, but I'm glad it ended on a happy note. Just so long as you keep doing you, I'll keep sticking around.

All good things must come to an end... And Sabrina Online was definitely a good thing.

Your comic was one of the foundation stones of my introduction to the Furry fandom, longer ago than I really care to think about. This, and the stories that grew up around it, The Gneech's Suburban Jungle comic, and the artwork of  ryngsraccoon are the basis of my furrydom.

I honestly cannot remember a time when I wasn't looking forward to the beginning of the month. I really hate to admit it, but Your webcomic has been a part of my life since I was six years old. Missed the first year but... I'd say nineteen years was definitely one hell of a ride.
Thank you very much for all the time you put into that silly and lighthearted comic. Through it you told a wonderful, hilarious, and incredibly entertaining tale.
I would Like to express the profound respect i have for you as well. Not many people can say they've accomplished this. As a last note I'd like to say,

THANKS for a great strip, Eric! And thanks for sticking with it. Furry fandom is littered with comic books, on-line strips, etc. that were abandoned by their creators in mid-stream and never finished. Great characters, terrific artwork, and tons of fun!

Are you planning to make a sequel series to "Sabrina Online"? I would like know. Because if you're going make a sequel series, I already have the perfect title: "Sabrina Online: the Married Life".

Seeing the strip for the first time in Amiga Format? fighting through 1996 to get a hacked A500 online, eventually giving up and paying an extra 20% for 33% more Ram to run the brand new Miami Demo through dialup at 1p/ minute in 1997, it was on my Permanent Site list, which I try to use as similarly today as possible, A set of 20 sites, news, webcomics, tech, forums.

Spending half the cost of the computer on the external hard drive and memory expansion to play 4 meg anims. Finally maxing the system out with 8+2 meg to play Plight Of The Artist while swearing at the 486DX66 with 16 Meg at college for being so slow compared to the 7 Mhz hacked A500/+.

Adding a SUN SCSI CD Rom to the system to access the Cover CDs, including the Eric Schwartz Special.

20 years.

Almost half my life.

i saw it comming, some reasons were:

1. 20 years. round number
2. your 800 strip was kinda rushed
3. you "suddendly" updated it more then normal
4. the rush of the story.


i dont mean now "BUUUHHH!!! I WANT MORE!!!!" - no. its of course sad its "ending" some how, but thinking 20 years running a comic is a "fucking" lot work. you did well and i dont see a reason why people should complain about. it still sure is a shame but we have to "deal" with it. thanks for such great comic. i was there from the very beginning.

I first discovered this comic back in 1998 (I was 12 at the time) and I'm glad to see it come to a proper end and I gratefully enjoyed the ride; this was one of the few webcomics throughout the years I never lost interest, I always looked forward to every update and will I'm a bit sad to see it go all I can say is Thank you Eric, thank you for taking us on this wild amazing journey about a quirky tech savvy skunk girl who ends up working at a porn studio and deals with the challenges that come with it as well as life itself so once again thank you.

All good things must come to an end, but I'm glad it the webcomic got a good ending. It was a fun journey, reading all the ups and downs of the cast each month. Shame its now over, but I do not regret reading it. Thanks for all the hard work, EWS!

It's kind of depressing to hear people speaking as if the story is over, but even still, it's bittersweet to hear that the comic won't be updating monthly anymore. Even though I wasn't around for the entire ride (literally speaking, because I hadn't even been born yet when the comic first started), Sabrina Online is one of my favorite webcomics, and I've become a huge fan of your work. However, I understand that working on something for so long with such frequency is difficult, and the point in the story at which you made this decision was very much appropriate. I can't wait to see what you decide to make in the future (especially with the possibility of a Sabrina animation, that sounds so awesome), and I'll make sure to check the Sabrina Online website every so often for new strips! Thank you for all of your hard work, and thank you for creating such a great universe that all of us know and love.

I fell in love with this strip as soon as I first started reading it. Hard to believe I was Tabitha's age about when it started. I admit, it kind of makes me sad that I won't see much of it anymore, but I look forward to see what comes next for Sabrina and the gang!

Well 20 years goes fast doesn't it. Sabrina was one of the first strips I found on line. Since I started following in '99 (I think), there hasn't been a month where you you didn't knock one out of the park, either artistically or written word. Great run! I'm looking forward to what else you have up your sleeve. BTW any of you that haven't seen Eric's animations should watch for any new ones he makes. I'm sure it will be worth it.

Congratulations on twenty years. I'll miss your monthly comics. Please do try animations again, you were great at that!

While I will miss seeing the stories of Sabrina and her friends every month, I am happy to see that Sabrina and Richard finally tied the knot. Part of me would have liked to have seen them enjoy life as a married couple a little more before starting a family, but I am happy to hear that you plan to give us glimpses of their lives now and then.

SABRINA ONLINE was one of the earliest webcomics that I followed regularly, and remained one of the best right to the end. I regard her as one of the earliest examples of the "adorkable" character type that has become mainstream. In fact, the TV Tropes entry for "Adorkable" cities SABRINA ONLINE as an example (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Adorkable/Webcomics ).

I'm having a quite strong feeling of ambivalence, OH GOD SO MANY FEELS, but is nice to see an ending to this story.
I'm very sad it had to end, while I was a reader from just a couple of years ago I really liked the story, characters and humor, without mentioning how your great art style tied it all together, and it was always nice to see what would happen next.
I'm happy it had an ending, while it's sad that something ends it's nice to see it did in a good conclusive way, even if it's not the complete end tho( in fact it helps the sad part to know there's a little more comming sometime in the future), but nontheless, nice to see a good history have a happy ending.
I'm eager to see what you come up with next, now that you won't be spending more time in a monthly comic I wonder what will your next big project be, even if it's not as big.
I'm happy for you because you made something this big happen, it's really inspirational to see someone can do something like this with dedication, that something like this is possible just for the desire to do it, for the joy it brings, it makes me wanna do something myself some day <: 3 .
and I'm missing it already, nuuuu! I want it back I want to know there will be more funny comic strips next month, I want to see so much things happen in here, waaaah! <XD

Quite honestly, you left it on a good note. I mean, Sabrina being the main character of the story has pretty much reached her goal in life. To continue after that, you would have to poop out ideas then. Even with some side stories, this could be an opportunity for you to create something new. Regardless, been reading since 2000 and it was worth it. XD

Sabrina Online was one of the greatest comics I've enjoyed ever. Really it will be missed, but I'm glad it ended on a much anticipated high note. I've grabbed the RSS feed and will keep in the loop of any future comic releases.

Eric, Sabrina-on-line was the first comic I had the pleasure to enjoy. I remember 20 years ago when I saw the first strip on line in a cyber. Since then I have been a fan from this spectacular story until now... It is very sad to know that the strip has arrived to an end, but this is not an end, this is just the begining of a new and fresh story.. well you will decide which story it could be, and I know we won't be dissapointed of what will follow this fantastic story... So I know I'm way late to the party, and I've been following the comic since I entered the fandom. It kind of reminds me of the Simpsons, how you expected it to always be there even though you know it has to end some day.

Sabrina was always a fun comic, and I must thank you again for your portrayal of ZigZag, which honestly was my largest source of inspiration for my portrayal of the character. Though I only ran with it for four years, it was a lot of fun.

Dang! I saw some of your old animations on YouTube back in the day. My dumb butt never knew there was a comic until recently...I actually finished binge reading it. Took me about a week. I got hooked and thoroughly enjoyed it! Sad that it's pretty much ended, but I look forward to more stuff of yours in the future! It's so easy to get attached to the characters.

It was one of the first webcomics (let alone "furry") that I ever read. It is and will continue to be a legend. You sir have done an amazing job keeping it going, the time, effort and sacrifice well is collossal.
