Today is actually a terrible day. Our foolish congress has approved a measure that allows families affected by 9/11 to sue Saudi Arabia. While there is no question that this is good for the families, this is Monumentally bad for the rest of us. Why? The law of unintended consequences will show us why, as well as Hoyle's law. If we can sue them, they can sue us. President Obama feared that our soldiers will be held criminally liable for carrying out their orders in foreign lands. I have a different fear. In countries that do not separate church and state as we do, The charge of Blasphemy against Islam may be a charge that foreign courts may level at us. Before today this would not have any weight whatsoever, now it does. You Watch. this will happen. and it all started with today's vote against a President's Wisdom.
