Long-Due Update
I know, it's been a while. I'm not sure if my journals or content are anticipated or not, but it's high time I make an update anyway.
I'm aware I haven't talked much about my story in a while, but that's mostly because I've hit a bit of a road block. Emotionally and financially. How could money be a problem when writing my own story, you might be wondering? Well, I decided to be very unwise while recording important rough draft information. One of my 3 working laptops is a Dell that only had a battery issue, so for a while I used that as my main laptop for writing. One day though, it experienced a RAM card or slot failure, and won't power on anymore. It just so happens that I decided not to put any of the information I typed up on any other laptops. One is a slow to operate, 8-year-old HP that has battery issues, and the other is a newer HP with a non-working keyboard and battery issues. I've recently acquired a laptop with what I believed to be a pirated version of Windows on it. It stopped functioning correctly, so a friend of mine converted it into a Linux that now has graphical and crashing problems, which will be resolved later. This laptop also has battery issues. My 5th is a new one I recently purchased for the purpose of mobility. It's small, light, has a good battery, everything works, it runs well. It's the perfect laptop to host my writing on, but the information is still on the Dell that doesn't work. I'm going to need to get at least $150 in order to repair it, just so I can get my important data back, so any further progress on my story will have to wait until later. I have a good idea of where I want to start the teaser, which is kind of exciting.
When it comes to ESPA's progress, my motivation is the main stopper there. Making classes takes a lot of work, and there have been many changes recently that need to be applied to classes that have already been made. Not to mention we have only barely scratched the surface of the creatures list, let alone alchemy, enchanting, deities, spells, and more. Another thing that puts a damper on my progress is the loss of all my help to disinterest and personal life difficulties on their end. On top of all that, some serious and urgent things have come up on my end that have pushed working on ESPA to the wayside, at least for now. I could use some more assistance, but I'm weary of public recruitment, so I would rather not have to do that. The next thing on the list is definitely the Nightblade class. I've started it, but it's not even close to being done yet. When it is, I shall post it here just like the other files I've posted.
I fully intend to continue working on these projects when I can, it's just that with events occurring for me and my previous helpers, and the fact that I currently don't get much time to myself or piece of mind, they will be rather slow-going. Wish me luck, and maybe pop a note if you think you could assist with some Pathfinder+Morrowind.
