Hey there everybody!

here to bring you some more upbeat news in light of recent developments. and myself have been working on some new things to bring to the metaphorical Calico Cougar Studio table that we are excited to be sharing with you later on in this post, as well as some more clarification on what you can expect from us this year in 2017, and a better explanation of what is currently going on and how that is affecting workflow.

To start things off on a high note, it is with great pleasure we announce our new implementation of an online spreadsheet that is accessible to the public--but it's not just any spreadsheet!

This document has a current and up to date list of ALL of our fursuit related commissions! Organized by queue number, you will be able to regularly check up on the status of your commission! We will be updating this feature as we complete each step of your commission, so we advise you to take a look at it weekly and see how things are coming along! (If you do not feel comfortable having your name/nickname or commission listed publicly on this list, you may message this account and we will censor your commission for you as soon as possible, in a way that you will still be able to check up on it regularly without anybody knowing whose or what commission it is!)

Your place in the queue has been determined between myself and based on three factors: 1) What date you originally commissioned/bought your item, 2) What date you paid off/paid your last payment on your item, and 3) How long you have been waiting for your suit.

Unless if you have already discussed it with us prior, you cannot move your place in our queue. However, we have all intentions of starting to work through these as quickly as possible, and we hope to get our entire queue completed by this time next year (we're actually hoping for sooner but shhh don't tell anyone!)

Now, for a bit of clarification on what exactly is happening here at Calico Studios:

As mentioned in the last post, Calico herself has been relocated to Colorado to stay with family while she recovers. Due to her current condition and the medical treatment she requires, she cannot be with us here in the Midwest, and will not be working on anything fursuit related for the next several months. and myself () have volunteered to step up and finish the current commission queue of fursuits for her. With our combined experience in fursuit building we can confidently assure all of you that your suits will turn out gorgeous and Calico approved!

While Skadia and I are working as fast as we can to finish your guys' commissions, we humbly ask that you keep in mind we both have our own lives and projects going on outside of this as well (mainly our day jobs. Real life is such a downer like that.) That being said, we are absolutely determined to finish this commission queue as soon as possible.

Due to all of this, fursuit commissions will not be reopened until this queue is finished, and Calico is well enough to get back to working on these suits by herself. Calico does have plans to eventually open up art commissions however, so if you are interested in that we highly recommend that you keep an eye out, as we will be sure to update you guys here and on other social media when she decides to reopen for these!

We are very excited to start this new year fresh, and even more so to get started on your commissions!
