In Loving Memory

As those who have seen the previous journals I have no deleted as I felt they weren't good enough and felt I needed to write a better, more personal one - My mother has passed away at the age of 51. Now many of you who know me, think of my mother with the words i have said in anger and frustration with her, not in the truth of who she is or how wonderful and strong she was.
As some may know, my mother raised myself, and my two elder sisters alone, a single mother on disability because she hurt her back badly at work - she managed to raise three healthy children on no more then 800 dollars a month from mid 1994 till when my eldest sister was at working age in the early to mid 2000's. She was always the word of reason, she was always the strength you could depend on, She listened, she understood, she is by far one of the biggest reasons I am who I am today - and I wouldn't trade any of that for anything. For the last 12 years of our lives, she has been classified as terminally ill with a condition known as Congestive heart failure, Some of the medicines she took attacked and killed her liver and kidneys as well, but despite all that she still stood herself tall and still weathered the storm of her conditions, and even in the end, when the storm finally calmed, she still stood. The Medical Examiner has told us, that none of her life threatening conditions are what killed her, what did was a complication from her pneumonia in combination with broken ribs which she got from a fall a week before her death.
For those who do not know, my mother was a believer in the christian faith, a lawfully ordained minister of the house of Christ, she ran a online Ministry called DWICF.org - which stood for Daily walk in christian faith, It never really grew big, and she never really had many people visiting, but she did her best to help everyone who would request help of her. She helped teach me and my sisters how to be thankful for our daily blessings, at the end of the day she'd ask us to write down 10 things of the day we're thankful for, and helped us not take things for granted and understood how lucky we were.
I feel so sorry for my nieces and nephews, who will grow up not knowing their Oma, who will not know how strong and wonderful a woman she was, will never know how hard she fought for her children, and how even in the end, Oma stood strong and still won even in her passing.
And those who may want to help, we have a GoFundMe so that we can afford to put my mother to rest, think about donating to it please, and if not, please share this post, help the world know who my mother was, and how great of a person this world just lost.

Mama, May you rest in peace and have a happy eternal life with our lord and savior, we all miss you, but we'll be strong, I love you.
And as an added thing, maybe those who read this, take a moment of your day to come back here, and tell me ten things you've been blessed with this day, and dont think they have to be major things, they can be the simplest thing, such as simply having food, or clothing to wear, or a home to live in, we are all blessed with many things in our lives, and we never even begin to think of those blessings we've received, believers or not, I implore you - Just take a moment, but one single moment, to think of those blessings you've been given, to remember to share thanks with those you love, because you never know when one of them may suddenly be gone, never to be heard of or spoken with again.
