As military appreciation month comes to a close, on this memorial day - I can't help but look back, and think of family and friends who have served in the military over the years. Of all of them, I think I owe the biggest thanks to one in particular. A dearest of friends of mine, someone who has helped me through the loss of my mother, and been there when ever I needed someone to be - We may not always see eye to eye, and sometimes we might fight and not talk for a while as we're angry with one another, but we always find a way to keep that friendship alive - regardless of what happens.

A personal note, specifically to you - I can never say how thankful i am for our friendship, and how proud i am to know someone like you. You're nutty, you're insane, you're dangerous, but most importantly you've been one of the most loyal friends I have ever known. You've helped me through so much, You've been there and helped me stay standing when I wanted to fall down. When my mother passed, you stayed on the phone and even though I was trying to let you go you wouldn't let me go until you knew i was alright. Nothing ever feels quite right when you're not there, What can I say, when you're gone - I'll always be flying a missing man.
