That feeling when your dietitian catches you trying to eat a cookie and fusses at you about how much fat and carbs it has. So to shut her up, you give her a cookie as well…suddenly she’s okay with you having, “One cheat meal because you work so hard…” as she hungrily inhales it (LOL). Such a great role model I have!
...and now I have one less cookie. Huh, less temptation I guess? Sorry but I couldn’t resist sharing that little story with y’all-

Happy first day of autumn everyone! The year is slowly winding down, yet I’m still as hot as ever-
No, not hot as in “I’m sexy hot.” Hot as in, “Why is it 93 degrees (33.9 °C) with a heat index of 101 the first day of autumn?!” It’s really hard to get into the season when I’m still wearing shorts and got my air conditioner blasting 24/7.
Hello y’all, new and old watchers, along with my buddies on here! Just poking in to say hello because I really miss rambling and ranting, so I figured I would freshen up my page with a new journal.
First off, thank you to all you new watchers. I really don’t like leaving those cliché, “Thanks for watching!” shouts on your pages because they feel so…impersonal, not to mention done to death. Nonetheless, just know I go to EVERY one of your pages to check you out, look at your profiles, favorites, all that fun stuff…ya know, just to get an idea of who you are and why you chose to watch me- so I definitely notice ya.
Where the heck did some of you come from anyway?! When did being a snarky, stubborn, sword wielding female make a wolfcat so likable?!
Secondly, I’m sort of, but not really sad to say, I don’t have anything bad to ramble or rant about! Man, I guess this is what happens when you become a mature, responsible, well-rounded adult: your life is relatively in order, you keep your head down, do your work, and don’t stir up drama or gossip…and as a result, nothing happens to you! I guess I’ll have to rely on others to keep me entertained with their drama instead, LOL. But on a serious note, why have I been so quiet lately? Well, nothing is going on with me! And I mean that in a GOOD way. Just the usual: eat, sleep, work, workout…repeat. Speaking of working out, I’m still busting my ass to lose these last few pounds- I’m still hovering between 65-68 total pounds lost. However, my dietitian and friends assure me part of the problem is due to me gaining muscle and finally losing some of that visceral fat around my abs so I look leaner (visceral fat: basically it’s that beer belly or pudge that covers up your six packs). So no matter how much I run, kick, punch, or throw the scale against the wall, as long as I’m doing strength training, it might be a while until I get to my “ideal” weight. Dang it, why is weight loss a conspiracy?
Anyway, it’s the time of the year again! Whisper’s fur color will be changing back to its winter, white coat soon. I’ll be retiring her brown, summer coat sometime next week after I post a few more pieces of her. After which, it will be gone until around April 2018 for spring. Meanwhile, commission wise, Whisper will go into "hibernation" as her fur changes colors, so she'll be back sometime around mid to late October when it cools off. But don’t worry, she’s going out with a splash (literally and figuratively!) And as always, I promise lots of exciting, tasteful, and interesting art of her winter form to come. And for those of you that like Amelia, I’ll try to squeeze in some art of her as well!
Also, I’ve had a few people asking can they get art with Whisper. Yes, I actually love getting joint commissions with others, especially my friends. As long as the piece is sfw/general rated, and you have a creative, unique idea in mind, I’m game! The more unique your idea and character(s) are, the more likely I will be willing to get something with you (Note: if blood is involved from hacking and slashing, I might be willing to get a mature piece)
So before I wrap this journal up, let me share a funny story that happened to me yesterday on my way home from work…
I was taking the bus home yesterday from work, when I heard some guy towards the back of the bus say, “Hey pretty girl!” Now there were other women and girls on the bus so I ignored the remark, glancing back at my phone, trying to pass the time until I got to my stop. Next thing I know, this guy I used to know comes up to me as he’s getting off the bus and say, “Hey, you didn’t hear me calling you earlier!” as he laughed and patted my back. I just laughed and told him that NO ONE calls me pretty nowadays, so I figured he was talking to someone else! You know it’s sad when someone calls you pretty, cute, handsome, or attractive, and you immediately question if they’re serious or talking about someone else…plus who the hell looks “pretty” wearing scrubs after a long day of work?! Not me…haha.
Anyway, I hope everyone’s doing well and having a great week. Until later~

I have to admit I really liked that design so all future pieces of Whisper will be similar to that coat! So she'll still have her white coat, just with some faded spots as a reminder of her summer coat~
Pfft, don't get me started on my weight- I"m trying to lose the rest of it! I've already thrown this evil scale so much, I'm surprised my job hasn't fired me for "workplace violence" against an inanimate object, lol
They know the place crumbles down without you, so an unhappy scale is a sacrifice they're willing to make :P
Well I think it's mostly because it's cheaper to replace a scale than train someone else to do my job! (that and no one else wants to do my job) so if I break a scale...or four, they don't mind as long as I don't injury any patients or coworkers in the process.
Well certainly look forward to seeing winter Whisper as I love winter. :D Although Whisper looks amazing regardless alongside Amelia!
Can't tell if you are asking for a bloody commission or notI mean it was probably him thinking you would recognize him or something but have some confidence in yourself! Own up to the compliment and know it's true regardless of what you are wearing! :D
Exactly, lol. But yes, my friends fuss at me about this same thing every.single.day I assure you. I'm just fussing to fuss at this point because it's a conspiracy
No, I'm not asking for a blood/gore commission, that's just if someone has one in mind (ie: Whisper tearing someone to bits so much, she's covered in his or her blood). Sometime like that as anything showing blood is considered mature on here. Stupid I know...so if I got a papercut and a little blood shows, it's mature! Yet other submissions that are WAY more tasteless and lewd, bordering on mature, get away with being classified as sfw.
See, you're gonna get me started ranting again but I'm gonna behave (for now). Anyway-
Haha, I have awful self confidence in my looks and I have no shame in admitting that! I personally think I need to work on SO much more before I'm even sort of decent looking! But "pretty" is in the eye of the beholder I suppose.
I was only kidding about the blood commissions haha. Any Whisper commission is a good one!

Well I plan on getting some art with you as well so get ready! Though I don't see you as the hack and slash, bloody/gore type so we'll have to devise some appropriate ideas.
Well, just because others think I look good, doesn't mean I feel the same way. I guess being "that girl no one really acknowledged or noticed" is to blame for that, so while I'm working on being more confident nowadays, it's definitely a process trying to improve my self confidence and self esteem.
Whisper and Kyo going snowboarding down a mountain! Kyo can have his wings stretched out kind of like he's using them to "glide," and Whisper doing flips in the air
...yeap. This idea must happen *adds it to my long list of commission ideas* Good call!
Well, I guess we need to make us a bucket list and meet up in a few years to get on that snowboarding!
I was at work yesterday weighing myself, and...I kid you not, I took off any excessive accessories and stuff out of my pocket that might add weight, you know: my employee badge, keys, money, shoes...
As I was taking off my socks, one of my coworkers walking by just started to laugh and shake his head saying, "Socks too...really?! You know that scale isn't going to accurately measure your progress anymore right?" As he knows I'm building muscle too. But the scale still frustrates the hell out of me regardless!
The men just step on the scale, leaving their money, keys, heavy boots on like nothing. But don't you dare get their height wrong- they will have a fit!
Women on the other hand, are so indifferent about their height. But when it's time to get their weight? They take their purses off, empty pockets...shoes off, haha. It's so funny really. Women are far more self conscious about their weight than men are.
Mind you, nowadays women are becoming more comfortable lifting weights. One of my coworkers I jokingly call "fitness girl," can bench and press as much weight as a man and looks damn good! However, she hates doing cardio, haha.
As you may have gathered, I hate cardio too (except maybe some kickboxing, that's kind of fun), but I've actually found lifting weights has given me decent cardio too, so everything has worked out. :p
You don't need to thank us, all of us here absolutely adore you and love hearing from and about you, it's a privilege!
I don't mean to be a stick in the mud, and maybe it's because I watch too much A&E, but you be careful with strangers like that on the bus..... you never know.

If some dumbass is really stupid enough to try something with me, especially after a long day of work, he's going to feel the wrath of a tired, grumpy female that's dealt with idiots all day...not the best combo.
