I don't know about fursuiters, but the closest I ever got to hugs last night was a one-off salsa workshop at my local theatre.

Although I was shy as hell, I managed to put on a brave face and enjoy the music as I lead partner to partner. Group activities like this can really lift people's spirits as they do mine.

All I would suggest is finding a group activity that you would enjoy even if it's just a one-off. Who knows? It could be fun. Just take it easy. =)

You know what... I think I'm going to move on to writing season. Networking Season has been pretty tumultuous.
