I've decided that I can no longer in good conscience just sit back and idly bitch about the state of the environment and how the officials we elect handle it. I am starting a project where I will post a species driven to extinction by humans on Twitter every day. I will then move on to species that are very likely to go extinct imminently. The goal is to put a face on the statistics, and to impress upon people just how real the problems are.

This is, in my opinion, the defining issue of our generation and the most dire threat that's ever faced us as a species. We need to fix this.
