Anti Journal #8: Confidence
What's New? Ill keep this simple, not getting heavy into sad stuff.
I am not much of an easy going guy, like a lot of people, I come from a blue-collar family. Not a ton of wealth, had to do a paper route for 3 years for Disney World vacation, yada yada.
So with that lack of success, I always knew life would be challenging even more but I would be headstrong and fight. That would be at times doing stuff that people would say, "Don't do this!" but never really asking me why I was doing it.
As I am 34 now, its one of my trademarks. I have an ego that is stubborn, but wanting to prove something.
It goes into my writing.
From my perspective, people will go, "I love to Write TF!"... so does everybody if they, but what the readers want is, "I want someone to show me something that I never knew could be hot."
Transformation is a unpaved road, its old but its new in terms of content. There is stuff that is not created. It takes courage but also confidence to plow the road for people to safety drive on and not fear what they think could be hot.
I want to be the best. I want to be the beacon. Each story I put out there I know will not be 100% liked, but its still 100% of my heart. Its a story that I want to put out there and test myself, push myself closer. I am not satisfied ever with being complacent, I know I can do better, so I must.
But at the same time, I turn it off when it comes to expectations.
People always love the risk takers; either your going to see an awesome stunt or a gnarly crash. Be confident in what you want to put out, be bold.
