It was a actual mod from steam with the badge that is basically a yes he is legit but he was not, Though the way some people responded to me when I told them I got my account under control is not helpful actually they were dicks about it.

Yup, I was drunk and the guy actually got a hold of a valve employee's account. I didn't know if it was a real think or not due to that, plus I couldn't find good enough evidence online at the time.
