on my first try a year ago, i got it on my first try. i thought the trick was feebas hid under the bridge. now im finding out that just massive massive luck on my part. im finding its gonna take me a while now.

Yep. The spot changes every day...so you have to get lucky. I still never found a marill in the original gold / silver. The only poke keeping me from 100%ing it

Nope, it was removed in ORAS. You can catch it anywhere on route 119. Its RSE only.

I remember back in the day when I found one on accident. I showed some of the other kids at school and they called me a hacker, mostly because when they went on there games to catch one they had no such luck lol.

I ground out catching one while I was working in a call center, wasn't too awful in that context!

In Diamond/Pearl it is a lot harder to get a Feebas. In these games, you must search for him in a huge underground lake, almost the same number of tiles like the river in RSE. But (!!!) those few tiles are not fixed like in RSE and changing EVERY DAY. Like, come on, what were they thinking?!
Good thing that I got my Feebas in RSE back then and just migrated it to Diamond/Pearl

I have a action replay for the ds, do gen4 feebas are no issue. RSE tho, another story

I think I've only caught 1 Feebas in my whole life in either RSE/DPPt
