I'm almost catching up to myself! Tablature for This Corruption is behind the links above. Again, the submitted MP3 is the result of putting the MIDI through Tracktion 2 - I still have no idea about the sort of sound engineering mentality that it needs, all I can say is that I tried out a trumpet preset for the voice samples this time and it sounds like Rise of the Triad. I think that the guitar parts in the middle worked out the best.

As usual, the tab information is fairly meaningless to me, but it's always nice to hear the song again! I like this version of it, as well...the high flute in your normal work is sort of a default, but lowering it with the trumpet in this one actually works surprisingly well. I'm actually not sure which one I like better....
One thing that stood out is that this one seems to suddenly turn into I Want Out at about 3:45 or so. I had to go back to the original and listen to the equivalent part...which is there in that one as well, but I somehow didn't notice it there.

When I was reminded that I meant to put this up last night, I almost asked you if you had noticed that in the original, but hesitated to ask outright! That was certainly conscious, one of the few little references that seemed to fall into place as I was writing this song - everyone else is using it ;) So it's great to know that you could pick up on it without specific poking.
I'm actually surprised by how decent people seem to think this version of it is in general, even though I thought it was just a hastily thrown together thing, attaching instruments to MIDI tracks to produce something different to upload that wasn't the original submission... perhaps it really is time to make an effort to switch music studios :)
