The moment we start I start looking for proper locations to dash to, though instead of thinking about trying to maneuver around them I’m looking up and the moment I find a good candidate I use my next quick attack but in an upward direction, jumping way up above the heads of the others. There is absolutely no rule against leaving the ground of the path, just that I cannot use anything but quick attack and have to follow the path. And so I jump up and land on a tree right before the first of the many turns. While everyone else is adjusting to turn in the new direction I push off and jump onto the side of a building and then onto a street sign to further my trajectory. I’m technically travelling further distances than the others, but I can throw myself harder at these places, trusting in my light weight and the fact I don’t have to worry about any of the others up here.

“All right!” the Cinderace shouts as he sees me dashing over his head to another transition point. “This is what I’m talking about!”
