While they’re finishing up the two of us go and sit by the wall. We had put on our jackets again and my mind wanders. It’d seem impolite to just leave without announcing ourselves and it gives me some time to think. For the most part we failed. Or at least I failed. I gave a bunch more people the same condition that I have and I’m no closer now to being able to stop this whole thing than I was before this night began. Sure we did a good number on the people working for team Rocket, but who knows how big a dent. Or even if there’s enough to even prove she’s connected to them. For all I know she could be a contract worker. And as I stare up at the waning night sky, I’m reminded of the fact that odds are very high that there’s another victim to that device, of another person who had been abducted against their will and turned into a pokemon. And without any further leads I won’t be able to get any closer to stopping this condition from spreading even more. And the more of us there are, the greater the risk we are and the more likely they’ll end up doing a crackdown to take us all out.
